I really didn't realize the impact of my elbow surgery to I started looking at my new pic's and comparing to the 99NGA. I seem to be soft and not very pumped. That could be from the lighting and not having posed much in a year. But I suspect that it is because I couldn't work my upper body for three months. Damn I lost a lot of ground. No place to go but up.

What kind of surgery? I have this aggravating pain on the inside right elbow right where that bone protrudes to the side of your forearm. Any gripping, chinning and tricep work it really hurts. I've gone to the Ortho doc 3 times for shots in 3-months but he said if I come back after the third time its surgery, and absolutely no lifting for 6-8 weeks. God this sucks!

Well jocko, you have what is called golfers elbow. That is what I had my surgery for and I don't play golf 'cause I hate it. Yep you won't be able to lift for at least 6-8 weeks. They will scrape the tendon clean of the scar tissue and drill holes in that bone to encourage bleeding.

Surgery sucks. I just had a hernia surgery about 7 weeks ago. I lost alot of weight. Most came back when I started training hard though. Muscles have memory.

Thanks Chesty, My Ortopedic doc called it pitchers elbow and said jokingly we'll have get out the hammer and chisel. remove some of the bone. Goddammit. 6-8 weeks and how long after that did It take to regain your strength benching, pressing, curling etc? above you said no lifting for 3 months, not even legs?
