I just workout as heavy and intense as I can. Powerlifting is torcher on the joints and ligaments.

Powerlifting. There's nothing like seeing some big 'ol mofo a good deal bigger than me all pumped up at the gym thinking he's the shit after maxing out at 500 on squat power rack trying to stare me down cuz he's bigger... then watching him go slack-jaw when he sees me add plates and knock off some reps for warmup. There's nothing like superhuman strength

I used to be all about coumpoud movements, deads, squats, bench. I started with a new partner whose all about b.b, but has got some pretty impressive strenth for his size. We have since incorporated both into our training and we watched our gains go through the roof. Light week, b.b week, strength week. I must say it has helped my stamina as well.

I guess I train for both size and strength. It's much more fun increasing strength, since you know if you gained a rep or not since last time you worked out, but it's harder to see if you have put on muscle. It's hard to know if that extra pound you put on is muscle, or if it's just fat or water.

I'm too fat to compete as a BB. But I do compete in PL. Hopefully I'll be able to do both some day.
