Aaaaaahhhh! it happened again! Fucking 65% of the time i inject myself i check for blood and there is none but as soon as i pull out there is a fucking explosion of blood. I just stained my new pair of pants and this is begining to piss me off. Goddamnit! Is there another bleeder here that can sympathize with my situation? We should start a club or something.
And all the guys who pull out and get a cute little red spot can kiss my bloody ass!

I bleed pretty good sometimes, but never has blood squirted out or anything. I usually take my shots in the morning right before I take a shower so that by the time I get out of the shower it stops bleeding! But I feel you, one time I used a sust rediject in the afternoon before I went to night school and I was sitting there in my American National Government class and looked down and there was a blood spot. The shit soaked right through my shorts!

Hey Coolhandluke... When you pull the neddle out of your glute and blood comes out that means that you went through a vein. It doesnt mean that you injected it into the vein though. Put some pressure on it for a minute it'll stop. Or just out a bandaid on it.

Ok I got ya Luke... LOL... the same thing happened to me with tuesdays injection. Pulled the pin out and looked for the cotton ball to put there and a stream fo blood ran down my glute. I always inject early in the day before I am dressd up so no biggy. I think that peroxide gets blood out... give it a try.

If you guys would stop using fricken cannons to inject with you wouldnt have a big, prob.
I use a 25guage with sos250, and the never have a prob. Takes a little more effort and patience, but its worth it.

Do your injection in the tub right before you take a shower. You'll be naked so no stained clothes, then clean up is easy.

Never had problems injecting myself in the glutes before. A lot of guys I know jam the sucker in and flood themselves like no other. Take your time and relax the muscle. If Band-Aids won't do, snag yourself some of those big cotton patches.

I usually don't get too much bleeding, but every fourth or fifth shot I get a real geyser. I just take some gauze and press down on it. Sometimes I get a little oil leakage (I always go all the way in with at least a 1" pin) but not enough to worry about.

Thanks for the input guys. I usually am i bit more well prepared than yesterday...I didn't open the band aid thingy until i had taken my shot: ) So, i was running around like a headless chicken with this dark blood squirting everywhere trying to fiddle with a bandaid. If you ask me that's much more impressive than a 450 puond bench.

Meat tenderizer and cold water to remove blood stains. The enzymes in the tenderizer break down the blood. I know, I am a house husband.

I always keep some gauze and a band aid when I do it. That way I don't have to worry about it. I just put the gauze on, apply pressure for a bit and put band aid on.

I must be lucky. I've never had more that 2-3 drops of blood come out. Usually there's nothing at all or just a tiny little dot of blood.

make sure you pull the needle out straight (same way it went in)not on a different angle. something i do that helps is to not stick the needle in all the way, maybe only 3/4 of the way then as i start to pull the needle out i pinch the needle lightly with a cotton ball with alochol. this way your blood won't get all over everything. blood runs down my ass sometimes but my buddy's sprays all over the fucking place. this keeps from getting blood all over everything.

Ok, being new to the site I shouldn't lecture. But, since I have learned a ton from you guys already it's only fair to return the favor. As a paramedic, one thing I'm good at is injections. Vary your sites, quads, glutes, even outer delts. All acceptable places to inject. If you get a discharge, direct pressure should do the trick. Shouldn't have to use anything bigger than 22 g. In college, we had to nail ourselves once a week for 3 months...

If you can, just inject before you shower. Seems to stop bleeding for me whether it is after shaving or injecting.
