I agree, most roid rage is not roid rage at all. Its just being pissed off. I don't believe that roid rage exists, I think it can cause an unstable person to be increasingly unstable. IP: Logged |

I rage when at the end of say my chest workout I want to use the peck deck and some asshole is sitting there talking to some other asshole for about 10 minutes and then does another set of 10 at 10lbs and then talks again. I find that humming a 10lb plate at his head gets him off there real quick. IP: Logged |

rage is a very limiting word for what steroids do to you. what they do is they might intensify your emotions. you may be more depressed, angry, sad or psychotic than you are when you are off. i think it is due to androgens. halo supposedly directly affects the nervous system, so that is where its rage comes from. also the fact that it is highly androgenic. steroids will probably just intensify what you already feel. they won't create rage out of nothing. It depends on the person and the type of steriod......Some people can take anything the want and be fine......Alot of it is in your head.....I have a short fuse anyway, but when I am on the juice it does make it worse for me..... IP: Logged |

It does exist. You get irritated easily and feel like breaking something (or someone). Extra test in your system makes you more aggressive. That's a fact! As a couple guys have said, it depends on your temperment but it does exist when you use some compounds. Jon ------------------ IP: Logged |

It's no worse than when the 'little people' get ahold of some of that all mighty liquid courage, the golden soda. YOu know the guys that are ready to kick everyone's ass after their first beer ? I think there's some truth to the roid rage mystique. If you suddenly add a few pounds, your ego is sure to grow as well and usually this ends up getting you in trouble. You won't suddenly turn into a flaming asshole, unless you're already one. BPP IP: Logged |

I think roid rage is overstated. I like to think that I will go insane with more Test in me. That makes me hit the weights all the harders. I know that it is just placebo effect. If you are a jerk to begin with you will remain a jerk. That is just the facts. Platinum ------------------ IP: Logged |

Bro, Agree that roid rage is 90% hype. But moe test in the system can cause one to react more aggressively to situations where they may not. A lot of it depends on the person. Halo is highly androgenic, and threfore can make you want to rip someone's head off when you would usually ignore them. Also gives big strength gains...... Matt IP: Logged |

"Roid Rage" is caused when there is a hormonal imbalance in the body. Does anybody believe women experience PMS? It has been clinically proven that hormonal changes in the body can cause various emotions to intensify. When men's hormones change, either by nature or by choice, the body reacts in whatever way the person's genetic makeup desigantes. That is why some individuals do expreience an additional level of aggression when injected with exogeneous testosterone. This also explains why some individuals are more prone to the side effects of steroids than others. Unfortunately, when someone is suffering the effects of altered hormones, they themselves cannot detect their change in behavior, since to them their world is normal and everyone else is f---ked up. But it does exist, and some people get it really bad and others do not. Why is it so hard to believe that it doesn't exist, but then when everyone comes down off a cycle and hasn't tapered properly expreiences severe bouts of depression, then it is accepted? That is like saying I believe in God but not the devil. If you have one, then you certainly have the other, becuse they are both caused from the same thing, changes in the hormone levels. Recognizing and dealing with the changes are the most inportant factors. And as everyone knows, the media plays eveything up in gargantuan quantites. And the general public will believe anything they read or hear because they do not have the wherwithall to find the truth for themselves. IP: Logged |
