was wondering if anybody who has dieted for as how has this problem. can't sleep at all. my show is 9 weeks out heavy diet, heavy cut cycle, and sit in bed wired. any help suggestions would be apreciated. will see my doctor and inquire about valuim but if no your ideas would be apreciated.

Try to get some renewtrient. Makes me sleep like a rock for several hours. Do a search on sleep I had a post that ran a while on the subject.

But I know what you look like at this point, so that isn't necessary.

Just chill, and like you said, valium. Just be careful. Got hooked on that in high school and it was a mother to get off of.

Im gonna try to use some trytophan ive seen advertised on some vet sites.I think we all know why we cant get tryp.anymore and I think it sucks.If they will give it to a $1000000, racing horse with no problems,I hope it will be OK for a no name bber.Frank Zane said in one of his muscle builder articles it was one of his fav.supps for sleeping and relaxing.Ill let you know how it go's.

Hey flexed1. Definitely don't take a thermogenic compound i.e. Xenadrine if you can't sleep. I started taking them (I'm about 4 weeks out from my "Fitness" show) and I had to cut back to only 1 1-2x daily. They had me "wired"!!! They made me NOT sleep. So, if you do decide to even try them, only start out very minimal! BTW, good luck on your show!

man talk about hitting home...i am a few weeks out as we speak and i am ALWAYS up....insomnia is definately a bitch....good thing i have GHB or else i would literally NEVER sleep...as of now i'm averaging 2-4 hours a night....i think it has to do with the low bodyfat levels combined with the lack of calories...especially fat and sugar calories....i am eating 400 g a day protein, almost exclusively from chicken breasts....and i get about 50-250 g carbs a day, depending on the day...all very very clean, either oats, salads, broccoli, or yams....and the fats all come from 1 egg yolk each morning and the rest from the chicken and oats.......well good luck to you and just know that there are others who get the same thing when dieting.....i'll stay up for hours looking at cookbooks or clipping food coupons..HAHAHAHA! <actually...why did i laugh? it's not funny!!!...maybe just psycholinus is coming out>

Hi linus....talk about clipping coupons? Yes, I do that when I can't sleep, too. Also, I read through my various "Fitness" magazines, and clip articles and things that I think will help me out in the gym. You're right....it's not a laughing matter. I go through it sometimes, too.

Try to get your hands on some adavan (sp?)it's a sleeping pill and have heard reports that it works very well. Good luck bro
