500 dollar fine, slap on the wrist. I've never tried the walk, but heard about people who have been caught and I think read about it here once too. IP: Logged |

Use your head..........I have mine walked accross for me. If you look like a bodybuilder you are almost advertising. I have my "camel" go through about five minutes before me. I have never been totally searched, but any items ( booze,shirts, ect.)I bought was gone through and I am asked a few questions. As far as the fines.......walking I have no clue....my training partner had a bright idea to drive a large amount accross. Needless to say, at the boarder he was immeadiatly sent to secondary inspection and nailed. After 8 hours and numerous threats, he was released. They kept his car, and said he would be facing a $ 23,000 fine. One month later, he was notified he could come get his car after impound fees were paid, and was fined $ 500. Go figure IP: Logged |
