I know this question has been asked before, but I can't find the post. Does anyone know what taste Russian d-bol should have. I just got some today, and took a couple a few minutes ago and it had a slight sweet taste to it. Should it taste sweet, if not what taste should it have? It looks legit, Russian writing on the foil and everything!! I really hope I didn't get scammed, and any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Heavy Guns IP: Logged |

The problem w/ the Russian D-bol is its imperfect synthesis, ie, it isn't pure. There will be residual amounts of methyltest (precursor to methandrostenolone) in it. Yours is probably legit. If you get a good deal on it, don't worry too much about it. IP: Logged |

bstrong, it's not that I think methyltest is no good--it has its uses (upping the aggression level before certain athletic events, for instance). It's just that the residual amounts in imperfectly synthesized D-bol are too low to have any positive effect (I've known powerlifters who gobbled lots of the 25 mg methyls, and I've heard that the amount in a poorly made D-bol is about 1.25 -1.5 mg. At that dosage,it will do nothing except effectively lower your dose of actual methandrostenolone. Still, if you know what you're getting, and you're getting a good price on it, it may be worth it to you. [This message has been edited by the truth (edited March 09, 2000).] IP: Logged |

Ripper, The foil strip has Russian writing on it in blue that I'm assuming is the medical name for d-bol and the numbers 0.005r (5mg). Nothing else. It does not have a bitter taste just a little sweet, and also passed the "crush test". I'm assuming they are real because of the numbers stamped in the foil on the edge of the packet, which I think is lot numbers and such. I have 33 packets and none of the numbers are the same. I guess I'll find out soon enough!!!!! IP: Logged |

Heavy Guns, as Ripper mentioned, Russian d-bol is manufactured by Akrikhin. Another company, Bioreactor, also makes it. If you have the Bioreactor stuff, even if you can't read Cyrillic, there is a little logo on the left side of the back of each 10-pill strip: It's a little spiral with the words (in Cyrillic) "PEAKTOP". Also, the lettering on the back is blue, and the lot number, followed by the expiration date (Roman numerals for the month; Arabic for the year), are stamped on the end of the foil (right side, as you view the back of the strip). I'm not sure if the pills have a slightly sweet taste (maybe they do; I think my sense of taste may suck), but they're not really bitter either. If this is what you have, it's the real stuff.
