if your in the States you need a prescription...I've heard they work well but do not totally take them away, from what I've see it's taken the redness away from them and slightly made them smaller...it worked well for my friend....give it some time after using it and try tanning, wouldn't do them both at the same time since you can get burned real bad from extreme exposure to sunlight while using it...
