well this stuff is very tuff subject because there has been alot of studies about pyruvate and weight loss. And the big buisness of the supplement industry they kind of keep the results away from us. But from what i gather is (1)that this Supplement was tested with very obese individuals, (2) When they testeed them it was not a double blind placebo based study they just gave it to some over wieght people and tracked there results,so they also adjusted there dietary intake and exercise volume. so more or less it was a poorly conducted study and impossible to conclude whether the test subjects lost weight becuase of the pyruvate. THere was another study that was conducted (with very obese test sbjects)that was a double blind placebo based study that concluded that pyruvate aided in the wieght loss in obese subjects, so that means that it great for people that wanted to loose just alittle bi of fat, right? Wrong There was an independently based study that concluded that pyruvate doesn't really help those who are in good shape. Also i have taken it and for the price I don't think it is worth it. Go with xenadrine rfa-1 by cytodyne. good luck bro I hope this helps ------------------ IP: Logged |

I used to use it - way back when it first appeared on the market (it was very expensive at that time); anyway, don't waste your money - stick with protein, vitamins, creatine, glutamine, ECA, and select herbs IP: Logged |
