My best friend shaves his chest. He has very blonde hair, so it doesn't look bad. He is also in great shape which helps. I could never get myself to shave my chest. I'm not a competitive bodybuilder and my girlfriend likes the hair. Personally, I would only shave it if you look like you have a wool sweater on!

i'v been shaving my chest since i was 17, now 22.

for the first year i got real bad rashes from it, but once you shave it once a day or every few days, it will go away.

and if you have a real hairy body, ( back ) (shoulder) then yes it will look freaky if you shave your chest....

Fortunately I was blessed with little hair there in the first place. Nair works like shit, or at least it did for me. If you have decent chest size bro, shaving will allow definition to be more clearly visible. I shave my chest, forearms, and legs (only in summer) but keep in mind Bro, your opening pandoras box here, once you start, youd better keep your ass on top of it, otherwise that shit will grow quick. When I shave my chest Ill go all the way down to my waistline, as I have a fairly large tattoo across my stomach, which in turn keeps it looking fresh also.
