Hey bros, I just went to inject in my glute and hit a vein. I went a little lower than usual and when I pulled the plunger back it filled with blood. I didn't inject and withdrew the needle. Now I have a little bump in that area. Am I cool?

You'll be fine, I go through a vein on almost every glute injection for some reason.

But you should be fine. Even had you injected, it would have just been a relative waste of juice. Unless you were on the way out the door to a blood test for AS

You will be fine. put a cold compress on the site and the bump will go away. Stick with the upper right or left quadrant (depending on which side u R hitting). This area has the least amount of blood vessels and nerves.

whoever wrote that he would have been fine and just wasted juice, please explain why? everyone always says its bad to hit veins, and i have had several posts here about the subject.... never ever do i get a good answer.

PUTTING ASIDE THE NOTION THAT STEROIDS BY THEMSELVES WOULD DO NO HARM IN YOUR BLOOD STREAM. HOW ABOUT 2CC OF OIL IN A VEIN WHICH HAS TO FLOW INTO YOUR HEART?
THAT HAS TO BE BAD. THE ALCOHOL IN IT MAY MAKE YOU WOOOZY. IF ITS IMPURE YOUL LIKELY AT THE VERY LEAST COME DOWN WITH ENDOCARDITIS. OR SOMETHING ELSE. EITHER WAY IT IS NOT MEANT TO BE USED THAT WAY.
IF YOU CAn HELP IT DONT DO IT IN A VEIN.
TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT A ANATOMY CHART AND SEE WHERE YOU SHOULD INJECT.
YOU CAN GO TO A LIBRARY AND SEE A BOOK OR GO ON THE NET AND LOOK UP THE MAYO CLINIC OR CHECK THE INJECTION SITE ON THIS FORUM.

scourge1..hitting a vein is a bad thing..please don't post stuff unless you are sure..as for the vein, if you just went through it, don't worry, it might be sore, but no biggie, ice will help, also rubbing it helps to, I take a warm shower after I inject, help me, never too sore...

can some one answer this let's say i inject into a vein or a blood vessle when i draw back the plunger and it fills up with blood i know to pull out the needle but does that make the gear that is now filled with blood useless or can i just reposion myself and shoot it with the blood and the gear mixxed in a different spot

I never pull back on the plunger after I jab. Are you supposed to do this with glute shots every time? I always inject in the glute because it is the safest.I guess if I have ever hit a vein, I would know. Bruising, pain,etc?
