Nugent Amateur Bodybuilder (Total posts: 58)	posted March 03, 2000 02:25 AM I ordered 4000mg of fina, in implants,is it posssible or effective to implant on yourself under the skin?I have high pain threshold,and lidocaine if needed.If not a good idea,would inner thigh,armpit and scrotum be good application sites?Id do it at night just before bed to minimize contamination.Any input gets a free noogie. macrophage69alpha Pro Bodybuilder (Total posts: 741)	posted March 03, 2000 03:02 AM Nugent I enjoy your posts but you have got some issues get a conversion kit- ie put it in an oil base or use dmso- either topically or as an injectable in addition to your issues, you must have either a real high threshold for pain or you just like it- how can you even think about inserting something under the skin of your scrotal sac? macrophage69alpha Pro Bodybuilder (Total posts: 741)	posted March 03, 2000 03:41 AM I see know reason why it would not work but the chance of infection would seem to increase greatly- plus you would get an extended release of 20mg of finaplix- you would need to insert like 20 or 30 to get results- even then I would have no real idea as to the release pattern. ------------------ MP IP: Logged

The finaplix implants are designed to break down at very slow rate of around 40 days. This gives the cow a low but steady supply of hormones. To get the same results as an injectable, you would have to implant yourself with like 2 dozen of those suckers! Even if the implant would work in humans (which I am not sure it would) you would most definately get an infection. IP: Logged

Nugent Amateur Bodybuilder (Total posts: 58)	posted March 05, 2000 07:47 PM Not to belabour the point,but dmso leaves the terrible breath,and injecting is not sterile and neither deals with the fact that for some reason the manufacturer made it in implant form for a reason.Im curious if anyone knows why implantation is chosen over other methods from manufacturer.It must work,as one post said its a slow release stream into the body.It must be fast enough for a 400+lb animal to get the benefit. macrophage69alpha Pro Bodybuilder (Total posts: 741)	posted March 05, 2000 07:58 PM some animals are much more sensitive to anabolics. the pellets are slowly released over about a 40 day period- that what the data said on the stock growers research page. there were also some cool comaprison between the effectiveness of fin, ralgrow, fin + estrodiol, control group- the point being that although mass was greater for the other two the increase in lean mass was much greater for the fin-h only cows. I see no reason why the fillers and binder would cause an infection. I see no real difference between injecting dmso and rubbing it on your skin- if anyone does please post your reasons why. btw- it does make you smell though- yuck!!! your breath and your sweat. ------------------ MP IP: Logged
