seen it on the line for $99.00 , seeing if anyone has used it, and if it's accurate? IP: Logged |

If you're talking about the tanita scale, its relatively accurate. I had a friend get on the tanita and then i checked his bf% using a caliper and it was within 1.5%. so i thought it was pretty good. Unfortunately, water retention doesn't help out much. TJ IP: Logged |

I think it is fairly accurate as long as you're fairly normal in muscle development. I am by no means huge and my girlfriend bought me one for Christmas. When I had it caliper tested it was about 3% off. I sent it back because I didn't see any reason to test my body fat that often. It also had a disclaimer that said it was not as accurate on professional athletes or bodybuilders. Just my two cents. ------------------ IP: Logged |
