Can someone tell me a little about fish oil? Someone told me to try it while training for my show. I'd like to know why someone would take it & for how long? Thanks in advance!

Just like any supplement fish oil is taken by people who do not eat a lot of fish or who feel they need more of this in their diet. A couple of guys I know take it because there are supposed rumors that it aids in longevity and in the appearance of the skin. He claims that he belches the stuff all day after taking it and that it is pretty nasty stuff. I couldn't get him to chew one for $200.00 ;^)

Thanks Vinman for your advice! With all the tanning I've been doing, I guess I could try the stuff just to see if it helps my skin, further. When you're training for a show, you'll try just about anything, well, sometimes.

I think your missing the big picture Bros.
Fish oil isnt so much for your skin as it is for internal health. Utilizing Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids are not only heart healthy but also is a great aid in metabolic purposes. If your like some people (like E2) and cant handle the fish oil, then grab some flaxseed oil caps and use those for the same purposes. I use it alot during cutting cycles because my natural fat intake is extremely low. So subbing this into my diet aids my body greatly.
Later Bro,
WCP

In high doses of the 1000mg capsules by the brand NOW i noticed a decrease in bodyfat especially in the abdominal region. One thing thouhg about fish oil it "thins your blood". It did this to me big time, i am a bouncer at a nite club and during a fight my nose bled like a motherfucker and it looked like i lost even though i destroyed the guy. I switched to flax oil and not have noticed a thinning affect from them.
