I have recently moved here from Spain. In my country steroids are legal with a prescription. My question is this. Since I am a citizen of Spain, can I go back home, pick up a script in my name from my doctor there, and present it at customs with my gear. I was told by a friend I could do this. Is this true? Unless the drug that you posses is strictly forbidden by US law then you can probably bring it over here with no problems. For example, you cannot bring cocaine over no matter how many prescriptions you have for it. Remember that when you are somewhere else besides your home country, you must follow their laws or become subject to their penal system. Jon ------------------ IP: Logged |

Shit out of luck just found this on another sight... 24) What if the drugs are shipped with a foreign prescription? The FDA focuses on the product itself; therefore, issues regarding the presence, validity or absence of a prescription are irrelevant. Non-approved medications are subject to being detained or refused entry into the U.S. as a violation of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. As a practical matter, non-approved medications include most pharmaceuticals that can be imported into the country. For example, foreign versions of approved U.S. drugs are by definition non-approved. So foreign-made tamoxifen would be refused. If no approved American version of a drug exists, the foreign product is generally non-approved for a whole list of reasons from questionable safety and effectiveness to mislabeling (if the label is not in English, the medication is non-approved). So clenbuterol would be refused. Sometimes the FDA issues special "import alerts" to authorize automatic detention (now called, Detention Without Physical Examination) of certain substances (examples are canthaxanthin oral tanning tablets and, yes, clenbuterol). foz IP: Logged |

I have read that people with scripts from US doctors like aids patients can order steroids from foreign pharmacies and it passes through customs. I have heard about people going to mexico and getting a script and coming back into the US with gear. I don't know if that still works though. Give the US customs office a call and tell them you have a script from Spain and want to know if you can bring back roids. The worst they can do is tell you no. Don't give them your real name or address just in case they try to put you on their seizure list. Later, IP: Logged |

In regards to steroids I would have to say that you can not bring them in even with a doctors prescription from Spain, I do know that if you go to Mexico and get a doctors prescription there for them you still can not bring anabolics back to the US period with or without a prescription, I am sure though if your prescription was legit from Spain and you really needed them for health reasons Customs might work something out with you if your a citizen of Spain, best bet is to call and find out. Unless your Dr. is licensed in the US you may have a problem. It all depends on the Customs agent. I would try and sneak it in. If you get caught just explain how in your country roids are legal and show the agent the prescription. It's not like they are going to throw you in jail. (Assuming your not bringing it in by the pound) The worst thing they can do is confiscate it.
