after i injected in my left glute, i pulled the needle out and saw BLOOD inside the syringe.. i alway pull out the plunger to see if i am in a vein... always!!! but after i pulled out the plunger and did the injection i lost a grip on the syringe and readjusted my hand, this was at the end, about the final 1/4th cc...i dont know if the syringe just collected a little blood during withdrawal or if i was actually in something... it was only a few droplets, but none the less, it was my fuckin blood!!! any thoughts? oh, and if you dont hear from me in a day or so, that means my heart doesnt care to have oil in it.

I think you will live! Most likely it entered the syringe during the withraw. Has happened to me before, more than once. I would be a bit more careful during your readjustments, after the readjust, again, pull back on the syringe to make sure you have not tagged a vein. When you pull it out, the syringe is empty, which makes it easier for the blood (which is under pressure) to get in.

Mad,
The same exact thing happened to me. I injected in the right glute. I pulled back and saw no blood, but I always readjust and move the needle in and out due to unsteadiness. Today, when I pulled it out, my glute gushed blood for a couple seconds, and I saw a little blood inside the syringe. I'm sure that we'll be fine though.

You guys will be fine. Bomber, it sounds like your blood in syringe was from withdrawl if you didn't bleed after you withdrew the needle. Phiend, it sounds like you passed through a vein. If you guys are concerned with side effects, get frequent doctor check-ups. I get a full check up every 4 months complete with EKG, blood work, everything. I get my prostate checked once per year as I can't stand having my doctors finger in my ass. Seriously though, if there is something wrong your doctor will catch it in time and help you correct it.

I dont know about blood in the syringe

but when you pull the pin out and blood squirts out like a mini "old faithful"- once you get over the shock- its actually pretty cool looking. its amazing the kind of pressure a 3 gram mass of oil can cause.

It is common to get a few drops of blood in the syringe especially when withdrawing it. It has happened to me on a number of occasions and I have had no problem whatso-eva. I also had a gusher from the glute once too. So if you ever experience that... WOW. Just don't freak out!

Ive had it happen to me a few times.. I dont think its anything major. I wouldnt worry about it unless you get a big bulge there or start gushing blood out. When you stick a needle in you sometimes you have to expect a little blood.

To be honest with you most of the time when I inject in my glute I don't pull back before injecting. I have had blood in the syringe before after withdrawing it but nothing happened. How do you do a flashback when your injecting in your glute, it is hard for me to reach as it is?

After I "pulled out" one time I had a gusher.
It squirted up pretty good, and freaked me out a little (the first time this happened anyway).

When this happens, just take your alcohol swab and apply pressure for a couple a minutes and everything is cool. If you are lucky, you won't even have a bruise.
