I read all these posts on this message board about getting gear back from mexico but no one said anything about sending it. Do you think it would be wise to package it up and send it back through first class mail? That shoulds better than putting it in my bag. What do you guys think? Later

yep, place it in the mail, use someone elses name and your address, place small quantities to ship, in a bubble wrapp envelope, buy em here and put your address on it, so when you get there, you have everything ready to send back.

oh and this way you have a nice vacation and dont stress about going thru customs on the way home.

That is the best damn idea I have heard in a while. Just make sure the package does not stand out, and take the time to send a few packages, not one big one. That way if any gets picked up by customs then at the most one of them (doubt any of them), and it will be such a small quanity they will just toss it.

Alright... Good deal. I'm leaving in 4 days and I will let you guys know how the whole sending it thing works. It sounds good to me but are the Mexican postal service allowed to ask what is in the package? I think I will buy 5 or 6 of the bubble envelopes and send it!

hey guys what type of gear can you send through the mail? if i were to mail amps back, would they break duning shipment in some of the automated sorting machines. if so, should i stick with orals?

I would just put the amps in my pocket since they are glass they will not set off detectors. Just use bubble wrap when sending or a small box.

wait! i wouldn't put anything in my pocket, the shipping idea sounds like it could work but as a frequent business traveler, i can tell you that you never know when you maybe asked to empty your pockets.

My brother went into encinata (cant spell it) and brought back 100) sos preloads and a few other items. He took a small tool kit and removed the bumper cover while over there and taped it all to the inside of the cover and put it back on and drove across with no problem. The next time he taped it up on the outside of the car. He had to go through secondary inspection the second time and made it through no problem. Any package heading out of mexico brings up some notice but theres too many to get everyone. Its too easy not to bring it across and send it out of texas......Dont forget to throw away the tool kit before you come back across, thats a dead give away. PS They do check in small compartments of the car like air cleaners gloveboxs etc....But its easy.

The problem is, I'm only flying and I don't want to carry that shit through the customs. I'm afraid that vials will go off through the metal detectors... don't some have a metal top to 'em??? Maybe I get empty them out into different bottles... But If not, I will send 5 or 6 small packages and hopefully they will make it here...

Thats why it would be better to carry amps instead, no metal. Problem is I want deca, and I do not know if it comes in amps. I think I will empty insulin vials and fill 'em up with primo and stick them in my suitcase.

you can get plastic sterile water vials 20cc no metal that way you can tape it to you and it wont set it off i carried 10 vials back

IF you bring down an empty suntan oil bottle that youve sterilized you can refill it with gear(oviously the same for the whole bottle). You put a bit of real suntan oil on the outside and place it in a baggie. That way if you get searched they wont touch your bottle as it looks messy. This works for me.

Actually I just got back and no dogs,no inspection ,no nothing. Just handing over your declaration card. If you bring back a small supply you should be fine,just dont get greedy or ignorant. Theres always a chance of getting caught....

well i can tell u guys at once that u should never carry orals roids or anything else in yor pocket trugh the costumer controll
i was in africa and had some ephedrine in my pocket the beeper went on but of course they dont care if u have one in you pocket thats not in theirs interest but if u had like 10 big bbricks with a lots of pills the might ask u .

I have been to TJ, Mex, many times. Your real worries are through customs. The metal detectors in the airports will not go off. I have been through w/15 deca and 2 Norandren50 in my pants w/o any problems. It just isn't enough metal to go off. Just make a quick decision and pick a line in customs. Thats your only worry. Once in line, there is no turning back!! Be careful and confident. Thats all for the pep talk....Good luck
