this is not a good idea the only weight loss it increases is water weight this is a good way to overheat and become dehydrated. if you are doing to drop water- I guess its ok- but just be careful. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I prefer plastic wrap around the gut only. Make sure you drink enough and even extra water. BPP IP: Logged |

Make sure you drink plenty of water...You body core temp is flaming with that bag on. Be carefull.. Wasn't it the actor Martin Lawrence (Bad Boys) who passed out doing the exact same thing....You shouldn't need the bag.... Use Hydroxycut or something, that will increase your body temp. NoLimits.... Good way to OVERheat fast. Not real benificial, either. You want to get the internal temp up, and cool off, as to not fry your brain, or dehydrate. Plastic traps the heat. up the thermogenics and sit by a fan. ------------------ IP: Logged |

The only time that this could ever make sense is an hour or so before hopping up on stage,as your body always seeks to hold a certain amount of water,as soon as you take a few drinks, the weight will be back. And as the others have said ,you can over heat very easily IP: Logged |

Your suggestion reminds me of my days of wrestling. All I can say is catabolic. Jon ------------------ IP: Logged |

I use to do that all the time during high school wrestling and let me tell you, you can lose mad weight like that but all it's gonna make you do is lose weight quick (& temporary) and make you real weak. Your best bet to lose weight around your midsection (what i'm assuming that you're trying to do) is to buy this rubber thing called a solarbelt. You can buy it almost anywhere like Sears or Service Merchandise. IP: Logged |

I wouldn't advise that. That is how those two wrestlers died, even though the media claimed that it was from creatine use. IP: Logged |

Don't do it. You will only lose water weight and get dehydrated. If you want to lose weight do cardio(without garbage bag) and eat well. androx IP: Logged |

the only weight you loose is water weight. all I can say is high school wrestling. did it many times but not for long term weight loss. you get to hot too fast for any useful gains. IP: Logged |

AHH i remember the old highschool wrestling days when i had to make weight. boy it worked well until after i weighed in and drank a 1/2 gallon of water and poof their is the wieght again. This is extremely unsafe and you risk a lot of harmful side effects due to over heating. This is also incredibly hard on you heart causing it to beat excessivly faster than it should in attempts to keep the body cool, and the loss of all that water is also very hard on your heart considering that is one of the main elements it uses to regulate its functioning. The increased heart rate beyond what your maximum heart rate should be (220bpm - age)is also excessivly dangerous to other blood vessels in the body. just food for thought oversized IP: Logged |

A good friend of mine wore one of those things at the gym. He looked like a damn hot air balloon. Negative on this one. Platinum IP: Logged |
