yesterday was chest day for me and I did 4 very good sets of flat bench. I pushed myself very hard. Afterward I had this very very bad pain in the back of my head. This pain made me dizzy and after a while I felt like puking. I had no choice but to leave the weight room. Has anyone felt like this before? I am only on my first week of 100mg of primo. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? It felt like a pinch or something. What should I do, I don't wanna take days off. I would appreciate some help or advice. Thankx -AzNpUmP IP: Logged |

I've experienced something like that before. It's like a real bad head ache in the back of the skull. It's happened twice to me, both times on the leg press. I never figured out exactly what caused it. By the way, I was clean both times it happened so I can't attribute it to gear. IP: Logged |

got the same thing once. I heard that it is caused by a build up of pressure in that region due to a lack of oxygen or something. I thought that I was having a stroke. Severe throbbing pain. Anyway, I was not on at the time. One more thing, I got the same pain during sex for the next two weeks I could not finish. It finally went a way. IP: Logged |

I also have had this pain while clean. I think it is some kind of pull at the base of your skull. That is just a guess though. However I know it hurt like hell and I got really dizzy. It would only hurt when I was lifting, especially at the beginning of the workout. It seemed to lessen as I continued to lift. However it did go away after a couple of weeks. It sucks but I just worked through it. androx IP: Logged |

I have had the same problem before when using ECA during incline bench. I was breathing right but my intensity was way up and all I did was wait about 2 minutes and then continued. It kinda of went a way into a slight headache and came back. By the end of the workout it was just about gone. Don't know any more than that though. IP: Logged |

HAd the same thing happen to me. Comlpetely clean, no stimulants or anything. Like a sick, naseaus feeling and a white sparks feeeling and a headache that could be the cause of teh sick feeling. It happen while Squatting, once doing a heavy ass set of leg presses. I attribute it to pressure and lack of oxygen at the same time. The best way to avoid it is to pay attention to your breathing. You are fine. Just don't get all over psyched. Keep breathing. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I was getting this exact same thing on all my power excercizes: squats, bench, etc. I went to see a chiropractor and within 3 adjustments, it was gone and hasn't come back. I highly recommend visiting a chiropractor for this. It worked wonders for me. -Christian IP: Logged |

i'm doing my first cycle and notice one long constant headache for the first two weeks. and when i would go into the gym the straining would make it almost unbearable. to the point i didn't want to work out. so just as i had decided AS were not for me it when away. but before it went away i ended up pukein' my guts up. couldn't even make it to the locker room, i had to stick my head out the front door or do it all over the floor in the middle of the gym. natrually a bunch of people were walking in at that moment. lucky me! You all need to see a chiropractor. I had this problem years ago and I went to every doc I could see. Some docs told me, "well, gee, it's an exercised induced headache. you might have to stop lifting weights." Seriously, lots of bullshit. What happens is with heavy lifting the atlas (aka c1 or the top cervical vertebrae) gets "tweaked" (for lack of the medical term) and limits oxygen and blood flow to the brain. I found the best way to prevent this headaches from ever happening again is to visit my chiropractor once every 4 or 6 weeks. That's all it takes to keep things in check. If anyone is having this problem I strongly urge them to find a good chiropractor. IP: Logged |

Bro that happened to me before. After benching heavy weights I felt a stinging pain in the back of my head. It's a migraine. Take a few days off and drink alot of water. It can linger for a few weeks so take it easy. After I took 1.5 weeks off I tried benching again and felt the same pain. it eventually went away. Remember to breathe when you're benching...it relieves pressure on your brain. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I was about to ask the same question. I've been getting it on chest day too. I think its cause I wasn't breathing out when I was going up. Im going to the chiropractor in two days also, so I'll let you know. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Shit guys. The back of my head popped one day when I was doing leg press and I got the most intense headache of my life. I felt like I was going to puke or pass out. I thought I had torn a muscle loose from the base of my skull because I have a knot there now. I couldn't lift weights for about two weeks after that and I had to make sure not to strain the back of my neck when lifting. I don't know what happened but it scared the shit out of me! I am a migraine suferer, and what some of you have discibed are mugraines(the pukeing, feeling sick to your stomach.lasting for a week)But also what a few of you have discribed id known as the (spelling) valsalva effect caused by a massive raise in blood pressure(legpress, holding your breath)it is a safety mechanism in the brain that will shut your body off before you suffer an anurism.I have had my vsion shoot down to two littlt pin holes before while legpressing, needles to say I watch the build up of pressure now. ------------------ IP: Logged |
