yesterday i followed my normal routine for injection shower before injecting dry off completely wipe down 1/2 my thigh severaly times with alcohol, whiped the top of the test 200 vial with alcohol drew up 2cc's checked for air wiped my leg with alcohol again pushed the pin in my thigh (only thing though this time my quad slightly contracted b4 pushing the pin in. i relaxed and pushed it in the rest of the way. checked for blood and took about 20 sec to inject) afterwards i rubbed the area down with alcohol again. massaged my thigh to make sure their were no problems. Jumped in the shower and ran hot water over my leg for about 10 minutes while massageing the injection area. Now my question is that today my quad hurts like a mother fucker, and about 2 inches AWAY from the injection site it is starting to get a little red, should i be conserned or is this just from the large amount that i injected in one area or from tensing up my quad b4 injecting. It doesn't itch but it is slightly warmer then other parts of my body. just conserned oversized IP: Logged |

It seems to be a little irritated. Keep an eye on it for the next couple of days. If it gets redder or swells up a lot then go see a doctor. It seems like you may have hit a nerve or injected right next to one. It has happened to me before and took about 3-4 days to recede. Jon ------------------ IP: Logged |

I am not a doctor and I dont want to scare you but when the skin is red and warm it means there's an infection. This is from past experiances but not from injecting. I just injected 3cc's yesterday and I am only silghtly sore, so I dont think that 2cc's is alot to inject. IP: Logged |
