Heres what Doc circled: Calcium 8.2(mildly low) AST 95(mildly high) Cholesterol 389(severely high) HDL 21 (significantly low) est.LDL 341(severely high) Tot./HDL Ratio 18.5 (severely high) Platelet 508 (high) BP-Good All other indicators fine. Doc wants to put me on medication-will it interfer or be interfered with by AS? There's no incidence of heart disease on either side of my family and all grandparents Any feedback greatly appreciated. not scared yet-Cholesterol has always been up on or off, just much more so on. I dont want to give up a passion but would like to know how to manage the HDL/LDL program. IP: Logged |

I was about 8 days out of a cycle when tests were taken. the last two weeks at work have been hell and i havent eaten as Much as i would. towards the end id been cutting back on the calories down to under 2000/day most came at the end of the work day with protein boosters through the day of tuna, shakes and some aminos. i have been eating a little more red meat lately and milk. id bet my test results would be different today as they were taken about a week ago. My Cholesterol levels are famous for soaring and dropping to normal. i normaly have an excellent diet year round. my system is just that way. my levels can be normal then i have an omlette and its gone. the eve before, no food drink 12 hours before but i did have a nice KC strip steak before that. Anyway-hope to be posting for some time-later MZ IP: Logged |

Does your Dr. know you are cycling? Chances are, if he does, he will not give you anything and have you re-tested in 8 weeks. You do need to tell him if he doesn't know. He can't report you, all he may do is lecture you. If you can't deal with it, then find another Dr. There are some out there that are ok with it. They just won't prescribe you anything. IP: Logged |
