Hulk, you can't just do one leg workout and expect to get huge. You need to variate your workouts. Here is a generic ex. LEGS squats- 4 sets-10 to 12 reps- 90% weight lunges- 3 sets-15 reps- 80 % weight leg press- 3 sets- 8 reps- 100% weight hamstring curls- 4 sets- 12 reps- 90% weight Calve Raises- 4 sets- 20 reps- 100% weight IP: Logged |

I would like to disagree with anyone who says one set of squats will not give you huge legs. My legs are so freaky that I only do legs one set of squats once a week and they keep overshadowing my upper body. I have decided that it really depends on if you work squats to failure. Most people probably cannot get away with only one set. You will need heavy weight and 5 sets of 8 to get good looking legs. Don't forget to do calves or they may not be able to support your body weight...ha! Jon ------------------ IP: Logged |

Big mack have you ever done a set of 20 rep squats? You use a weight that you can do for ten and then you do everything humanly possible to get 20! standing with the weight on your back, on the 10th rep you realize that you are only half way! you do another<hey only 9 more to go you grind out 2 more, take 5-6 breaths do one more, swear to god that you are going to die!Pulse at 160 bpm 6 more to go! Your back is killing you!6-7 more breathsdo another!Yeah!Only 5 more to go !Each rep is taking 15 seconds to complete now.Your legs are shaking, you do another. 10 more breaths, do another.3 to go! 10 breaths, pulse at 185, back spasming, you do another!and another. 15 breaths, thank god you are in the squat rack! You are going to do this rep or crash!!!! one more!!! you did it. Now the question is should you collapse on the ground or take the time to remove your belt first? IP: Logged |

Deepsquat, Collapse on the ground. Great description - that's exactly how it feels. And then while you are barely remaining conscious on the ground, because your brain is low on blood - it's all in your legs, you can be assured that your legs will grow. Matt IP: Logged |

Dillett,Wheeler, and Cormier never do squats, They say its a glute builder at best,20 rep leg presses, hack squats, and machine squats if you want bodybuilding legs, not Palumbo stumps. IP: Logged |
