I was on my third day of Sus250 and i had just finished up calves. I did 7 extremely heavy sets for myself. As i looked down to flex my calves i had noticed a bump that rose about a half an inch above the skin (quite noticeable). It didn't hurt but there was pressure. It was not the calf muscle but the area between my calf and shin. It was on the left side of my lower left leg. This hasn't happen ever before, did u ever experience anything like this guys on your cycle. I know the roids have already kicken in because i have already broke out. IP: Logged |

you sir have most likely torn the Muscle Fascia- it is really okay and actually very common- especially in the calves. The Fascia is the sheath that goes around the muscle- sometimes it is not elastic enough to compensate for growth or general expansion of the muscle and it tears. Fascial stretching is actually considered very important for muscular growth- your muscle will not grow if there is no room for it to expand- increased muscle within such a restricted environment will cause a decrease in blood flow which will in effect force the muscle to "shrink" so that it will still fit- thus the muscle fascia can be one of the inhibitors of growth. all that aside the fascia usually stretches quite easily except in the calves and forearms- I dont know why- but almost everyone that I know that has such tears has them in their calves and forearms. Unless the fascia begins to restrict the protruding muscle you really dont need to worry about it. btw- it will probably get bigger. ------------------ IP: Logged |
