anyone here have experience with depression stemming from a anabolics only cycle- primo, deca, anavar? Primo57 question sparked a thought that such anabolics only cycles might cause depression. This is not to say that other androgens do not cause depression/mood swings, it seems evident that they do especially those that convert to heavily to estrogen or act as strong progestins. I think that this might also be common on Dbol only cycles, anadrol only cycles, suspension only cycles- kind of odd how all these are associated with roid rage and large mood swings. any thoughts or comments? ------------------ IP: Logged |

Conan your response is quite common post cycle androgen levels are low estrogen levels are high this is a sure recipe for depression in males clomid will help- got to get test levels back up and stave off estrogenic binding- I am not sure How clomid acts with respect to estrogen binding within the central nervous system- hmm. another interesting aspect.

anti-depressants help me. after i finish a cycle, i usually start on serzone, which is the best one out there, no sex side effects, and i never feel depressed, try it. IP: Logged |

The only thing that has given me depression or feeling down was winny, i just don't take it anymore. Don't like it. Made me cry for no reason, i'd watch a movie and i'd start to cry. I don't need that.

I have something to say on this subject. It is strictly personal opinion though, but on a cycle of test and deca right now, and I have been feeling down and tired alot. When I go to the gym I am like an animal. I just have to have some extra motiv. When I come home from work I just want to take a nap and I slept 9hrs the night before. I can jump up from a short nap and murder my work out partners in the gym. Whenever I am done with this cycle I will definitely hit some Hydroxycut hard. I figure this will get things going all day non-stop, it has worked before. Strang thing to say, but when I worked at naturally I never felt this before. But the gains now are much more visible to everyone around me, so I don't think I will give up on the juice. IP: Logged |

EQ tends to make me a bit depressed, but when I am in the gym I feel great. I heard that vet roids cause depression, but this could have been incorrect. IP: Logged |

Only if it were just as easy to go and pick up some antiestrogen stuff whenever you need it!! Sometimes you just have to take what you can get and go on. Supplies are not that abundant in my area, or atleast I don't know these people because I don't tell everyone what I am doing. IP: Logged |
