That's pretty good for 18. What's your weight? At 18, I was could do 4 x 185lbs flat. Now I do 6 x 225 lbs on the incline at 23. I ain't the hugest and I ain't the strongest... none of us are. But we're all doing our best to make progress. And that's what it's all about. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Iam putting up 375 right now and I havent taken anything in 4 months, My work out Partner is only 21yrs old and at 6,3 270pds he did 3 reps last week with 525pds on the bench. It was pretty fucking impressive especially since he's so young. I guess taking 100mg of A-50 and 750mg T-200 a week is really working wonders for him. IP: Logged |

I'm not built for bench (very long upper arms) so I avoided it for a long time, just did flyes and dumbell presses. I added bench in about a year ago and have gone from 185 x6 times to 245 x6 times. I still hate it though. IP: Logged |

EgoMan is an American hero. Bottom line. I can still get 405, but I am more into the dumbbells - like so many of us I sensed a shoulder injury developing and stopped before it got serious.....I bench rarely now. I'm a squat guy. Matt IP: Logged |

At 18 and 165 lbs I did 195 and was happy. Now Im 30 and weigh 220. Always natural and Ive gotten 310. More than that and I fear injury, not a big maxing out fan as problems outweigh the rewards. IP: Logged |

I am 5'1'', 176lbs, at 11.6% bodyfat. I only use creatin and trib. I would estimate that on a good day I could do about 280 one time. I really never max out though. I never find time in my workouts for it, and I am not really curious about that anymore. IP: Logged |

I don't max out and I don't do flat benches. Flat bench just kills my rotator cuff. I've been putting up 365-375 on imcline for 4-6reps for the last month. I am 5'6" 207lbs 8.5%BF. IP: Logged |

At eighteen I powerlifted and was putting up 225 for 1 rep and I weighed 165lbs. Now Im still natural (not for long) but I can put up 315 with not much of a problem, just have to be careful of my tendonitis. Keep workin hard youll have that bench up in no time. Im a bench man myself. IP: Logged |

I never do flat bench anymore because my shoulder is fucked up. I do use a Hammer Strength bench and can do 8 plates(45lbs.) for a set of 10. I never tried maxing out, because I don't want to hurt my shoulder more. All natural(so far) just creatine. Like the other guy said, who cares how much is max, just make your chest grow!!! There are some people in my gym that always lift huge and they don't look good. They are all round looking and have little if any definition. I rather lift less, but look good. Spring is around the corner and it is time to bring out the wife beaters(white ginnytees) IP: Logged |
