A few thoughts. I'm sure you've read the posts concerning the condition of the board. All normal complaining, don't take it to heart. I think alot of the crap posts and duplicate posts are centered around the fact that alot of people are more interested in getting their 'pro card' and having a millions posts than they are in saying something informative. I see several names around that probably can't walk talk and chew gum at the same time that have 500 to 600 posts. I thought early on that this was a great idea but, hopefully everyone will agree, this has caused guys to post crap just for the sake of posting and watching their numbers go up. Do you think you can kill this past of our id's ? I've also expressed my opinion of deleting some of the other areas, ie training, counterfit, womens...etc. I don't know if this will help the recent board being down problems or not. I can tell you that most people post in another area only to repost over here anyway. I might even suggest that you ADD a new area dedicated and titled for beginners. This might relieve some of the flames here and even allow the true newbie to post something that he might not otherwise post for fear of being flamed. CAn you archive the older posts ? I don't think that anyone here needs to be able to read each and every post forever. Keep them in some fashion which will allow topics to be searched but other than that have them removed. Thanks BPP ------------------ Don't hate me because I'm HUGE ! IP: Logged |

i disagree with the beginner thing because how is a newbie going to learn unless he reads from a vet??? just a thought IP: Logged |

I think the board is doing good. If everyone expects the board not to have any off topic posts they are fooling themselves. I think occassionalyy even adds to the board and breaks the monotony. I go to several other boards and at least we dont have a fourth of the posts or more as source advertisements. kpumpin IP: Logged |

I agree completely with the pro card thing, who cares how many posts you have. As well i'd like to see something to the effect, of giving the mods the ability to boot people out completely. If one is kicked out now, or their ip is blocked then they can just log in again and create another account, if they're on dial up then there ip will have changed. IP: Logged |

PERHAPS A POST SHOULD CONSIST OF NO LESS THAT ONE SENTENCE AND NO WORDS REPEATED MORE THAN TWICE. NO ONE WORD SENTENCES. ALSO IT COULD HAVE ONE MODERATOR IN A BEGGINERS PAGE TO WHICH WHEN 100 POSTS ARE MADE THEN ACCESS TO THE MAIN BOARD WOULD BE GRANTED. THAT WAY MOST ELEMENTARY, NOT TOO KNOWLEDGEABLE QUESTIONS MIGHT ALREADY HAVE BEEN POSTED. THE TOPIC HERE IS ANABOLIC DISCUSSIONS AND ANYTHING RELATED. OR PERHAPS WE MIGHT OMIT THE ANYTHING. THOSE OF US WHO HAVE ACHIEVED OUR POSTS THE LONG AND CONTRIBUTIVE WAYS, HAVE COME TO VALUE THE LEVEL OF ACCOMPLISHMENT WE HOLD. NOT ONLY FOR OURSELVES BUT ALSO FOR THOSE WHICH BENEFIT FROM OUR CONTRIBUTIONS. WE ALSO LEARN FROM OTHERS. OUR CAPACITY IS ENHANCED AND WILL ENABLE US TO FURTHER FUEL OUR DISCUSSIONS IN A MORE GRATIFYING WAY. WE OWE OUR THANKS TO THOSE WHICH HAVE MADE THIS SITE POSSIBLE. TO THOSE WHO CONTINUE TO STRIDE FORWARD TO KEEP AND IMPROVE IT FOR US. IT IS OUR POSITION THAT RESPONSIBILITY FALLS WITHIN OUR DOMAIN, WETHER TO MAINTAIN OUR BOARD AS AN INFORMATIVE SOURCE OR ALLOW IT TO DISINTEGRATE.

Pro card? Who cares, to me its all about the INFORMATION.Sure it can get redundant at times but its never gonna be perfect for everyone, people are different and too hard to please all the time.Only thing to do is take the good with the bad. This is only my opinion and you know what they say about opinions!!!!!!!! I agree with BPP and some of the others for the most part... Except, I think you should keep the the "status" of the person, meaning... Pro, Novice or Amature. Just don't have the actual number of of the posts visible. I think it is good in a way because it lets people know that you have been around a while and also tells you when someone is new. So if noone can see the numbers they'll be less apt to post meaninglessly. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Agree with getting rid of the pro thing all together. I do have one ? though. How do we (the unknowledgable) know who is "in the know" otherwize I think the board rockz. I get or get pointed inthe direction of all the info I need. So when I do know what I'm talking about, I'll be one of you guyz IP: Logged |

It's just like anything on the 'net, you have public access by millions so things are bound to be congested with a bit of SPAM. Read around it and learn to live with it. It's a natural part of the web unless every post is picked through/moderated BEFORE it's visable to anybody. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I fully agree that in the last three weeks the substace of the majority of new threads is crap. By crap I mean unrelated to anabolics completely. I also agree that alot of people post replies to questions they don't really know the answer to. I feel you should not reply to a thread unless you have something intelligient, factual, and informative to add. I see alot of replies to posts like "sounds good" or "i agree". Just my opinion. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I agree with killing some of the other boards, it seems that many training and nutrition questions are thrown around on this board. Besides don't they all go hand in hand, whats the point of starting a cycle if you do not have a good program or diet. IP: Logged |

Great suggestions guys. We are archiving posts more frequently now and yes, they are available in the search engine. Do you think a newbie board would be popular? Sounds like a good idea. Also, BigPapaPump, and the other monitors, we can permanently block anyone from the board at any time. Just send me the user name and the offending URL and we will take care of it. The other boards are to try and spread around the traffic -- so this one is not too busy. Please help me get people in the habit of checking all the boards. For example, the whey/soy thread should really go in the supplements board. I appreciate all of your help and as always, your comments are appreciated. ------------------ George George Spellwin
