ok, i dont wanna overtrain, but i am juicing so i am not TOO worried about it, especially with all the calories i get... but if i just do 30min cardio, should i count that as a workout? or no? no matter what i count it as a workout day if i throw anything else in there, like even forearms, but cardio alone??? the question wasn't too clear... you want to avoid overtraining... how many days/week are you lifting? I lift 4 days a week when I'm "on" and 3 days/week normally. I've decided to count sex as a cardio workout--so I do about one 30 min cardio workout per week. (no cheap shots about my sex life, please) I would definitely not recommend combining your cardio and lifting into the same session. If you do cardio first, your weight workout will suck. If you lift first, you'll be famished and catabolic during your cardio workout. Do cardio in the morning before work... weights after work when you can go righ home and eat. I don't know your metabolism, but unless you're on a cutting cycle, i would caution against doing more than 3 cardio sessions per week. Above all, listen to your body. if you feel beat, ease down on the training frequency. ------------------ IP: Logged |
