Does anyone know which is safer to do when getting gear from mexico, hiding it in your bags or taping it to your body. What are the chances they will search you? What do they look for? If anybody knows info would be very helpful as I'm going to the land of goodies and do NOT want to get busted espically with my girl in the car with me. E-mail me if you do not want to post. I would tape it somewhere on your body. They will search your stuff before they search you. i just came over from laredo this weekend. It was busy as hell. When I walked back i went through the gate and said "american citizen" and walked on through. That was it. It really depends on what is going on, the officials mood, all kinds of variables. The best advice is walk back across when it is busy and stay cool like you don't have a care in the world. IP: Logged |

I was down in TJ about 3 weeks ago. If they're gonna search, they're gonna search. If they do, you've got a 99.9% chance of getting caught. A lot goes into it. If you're driving. When you are going. Walking. What you look like. How big you are. If you have a gal with you. THings like that. It's more than you'll expect. Get the fuck ready, man. IP: Logged |

It's just like when you pass a cop doing 20MPH over the limit and he turns around to follow you in your vette but then he doesn't pull you over (like happened to me this AM), but other times you pass one doing 7MPH over and they do pull you over. A cops gonna do what ever he/she is in the mood to do PERIOD even when it comes to who they search and how hard they look..... Good Luck.... Vinman IP: Logged |
