OK, people say it has estrogenic qualities, but ive just been to the mass quantities web site and it claims soy is actualy anti-estrogenic....

I need more points of view.
Soy is fucking cheep, digests quite well, has a shit load of glutamine, is supposed to be goo for thyroid function... so, wasup??

I agree whey might have advantages over soy protein after a wourkout, upon waking.. etc, but as a meal replacement, might be fucking great.

Have you noticed a lot of protein bars have a shitload of soy protein in them...

It's true soy is a very mild anti est. It's a great proetin and you should add it to your diet if you're not taking it now.

I dig soy. Any estrogenic or anti- properties are probably so mild don't worry about it one way or the other. It is an excellent, inexpensive protein. The limiting amino acid is methionine, which the body primarily uses to make creatine. I bet if you are taking creatine, soy becomes an even better amino acid profile for muscle growth. I bought a big ol bag of supro unflavored soy protein isolate. Cheap!

Here in Spain theres a a brand called Santiviery, wich is far cheaper than normal, about 7.5$ a pound, wich comes with extra BCAAS and aditiona aminos to make it a complete protein, is mildly flavoured, and has a soft taste...

Im going to give Soy a go, but Im still going to throw some whey in those shakes, and for postworkout Ill do my fist shake whey and my second soy.

I love Mr Spellwins idea for a shake, in the recomposition article he did;

-seving of soy protein
-tbls of flax seed oil
-fat free chocolate substitute (little spoon)
-two galsses of skim milk

if you dont grow on that meal replcement, forget about it.

It actualy makes flax seed oil taste OK.
