Dam, for some reason I lost this thread. I guess it got bumped recently. I will be competing in the middle weights this year. I did the Jr's in 98 as a lightweight. Did'nt do too bad, but did'nt exactly place where I wanted to. Real learning experience, but I still looked like I belonged. After that show my NPC state chairman approached me about refining my nutritional approach. Being a PT at a "fitness facility" at the time, I was always told to do a higher carb diet. Learned real fast! I'm very lucky my metabolism is like lightning or I would have not looked respectable. Requalified last year taking 1st. (Learned how to get a lot harder.) Been training hard, and got my weight between 184-189. AM-PM. So it looks like I will be taking a step up. I work with my nutritionist, who is the NPC state chairman here, and have made incredible progress. He says I am ready. I have a picture when I won the state, I will try to have a friend upload it here. Still got more size to gain, but I will make a great showing. Hoping to do well. [email protected] IP: Logged |
