A good last minute tip is to not to wait to the last minute to get dark enough. Remeber, there are a ton of 1200 watt lights on stage, so even Black people tan to ge4t dark enough for competition. Tanning also draws water from the skin and will make you harder. And Billy, good luck May 13th. See ya backstage. IP: Logged |

Try to get TRISOLAREN(trioxsalen 5mg) Trisoralen is used for the treatment of vitiligo, which is a condition where skin pigmentation fades. This is usually what the drug is prescribed for, but doctors do prescribe it to especially pale patients who might be headed for a tropical vacation. The drug increases tolerance to solar exposure and enhances pigmentation. Trisoralen seems to act on melanin, which is what is responsible for a persons natural skin pigmentation.... I am going to be going for my procard at the NPC nationals this year. I won my state championships "99 to qualify. Could use support this year, traveling a long way to get there. As far as tanning goes, make sure you start early. This will depend on your pigmentation of your skin. Some guys need to start 6 months in advance. The tanning bed is your best bet. Get the unlimited tans, because it will save you money. Tan sllow, and increase time as needed, but dont rush it. Rushing it will give you the RED LOBSTER look wrather than the golden brown look the judges desire. About two weeks before get some Jan Tana, Pro Tan.....I use DermaSheen, contains 24K gold in it, and looks real good under the lights, and NO you dont look gold, but you do come out golden brown. Used it last year for the first time and was very pleased. Make sure you start coating yourself at least a week before the show. Do it before bed. When you wake up wash it off. On the night before do your final coat. In the morning take a shower and wash it off. By this time your tan will be so smooth and solid, that no one should be able to tell you painted yourself. The biggest mistake bodybuilders make is not coating early enough, and not leaving it on long enough, thats why you should do it before bed. Go to sleep with it on, and take a shower when you awake. You must wash it off to get the clean look. If you did'nt coat yourself enough you will look to light. If you just put it on without washing it off, you will look like you just rolled around in mud. A good clean tan goes a long way with the judges, and by making sure your coat is solid will keep you from bleeding your tan away on stage. Judges like the sweat, but they dont like to see dripping paint. Just like the boyscouts "BE PREPARED." IP: Logged |

I use (suggested to me from John at Jagware) a few years ago a recipe for good color. Use Protan (1st), let it dry. Then after it is dry put on some Jan Tan the protan is kinda orange and the jan tana is pretty brown. The combination makes for a nice dark tan. Triple H Apply the first coat on Friday. Saturday give yourself a second. IP: Logged |

Definitly hit the tanning bed! Then hit the paint. I used to use ProTan. About 5 coats, get you real dark... until you get under the lights. You do get a slight orangish tint in the sunlight though. Also watch your knee's knuckles and elbows, the paint "gathers" there giving you a dirty look. As for the face I never painted it. The shit comes off your body blotchy. On my face I used a womens coverup, Mahogany was the color for me, it blended in perfectly, and washed right off. IP: Logged |

another interesting product is called Dream Tan. It contains minute partices which resemble glitter. It will give you a coppery look with some shine, theyby not haveing to use a lot of oil if you like that shiny body look. IP: Logged |
