Hey guys I need an answer to a measurement question. I am about to start taking HCG and everybody tells mw that I need to take about 1000-2000 IU per week but I don't know what an IU equates to in terms of CC's or any other thing. Please help. IP: Logged |

Well you will see ampoules like pregnyl that comes in 1500iu or 5000iu and depend of your cycle I to recommend 5000iu one week and then clomid for 2 weeks more.

TAKE 1CC PER DAY OR LESS IF YOU MUST BUT NO MORE THAN TWO WEEKS THREE TOPS AND REFRIGERATE IT AS SOON AS YOU MIX IT UP. OTHERWISE ITS NOT GOOD. IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOURSELF A SHOT IN THE BUTT MIX IT WITH THE TEST AND SEND IT HOME! DONT WORRY ABOUT IU THATS JUST INTERNATIONAL MEASURES OR IMMUNIZING UNITS AND I DONT REMEMBER THE CONVERSION MATH. IP: Logged |

It sounds as though you have 5000 IU total. If so, mix it up, do half of it and refrigerate the rest; do it 5 days later. That should work fine. If you are prone to gyno, take Nolva during this period and for 1 week after. IP: Logged |

On the back of the 10ml vial with the powder in it, it should tell you how many IU to each cc or ml. You can then calculate how much you have to take. I know some HCG that comes in 10ml vials is 500IU/ml and some that are 250IU/ml. It should say on the back of one of the vials though. DreamingBig IP: Logged |
