Just wanted to get everyone's opinion on this: 1) What have you guys found (if anything) to PREVENT stretch marks pre-cycle? 2) What do you guys do post-cycle to get rid of them? I've heard of using Retin-A or breaking open liquid vitamin E pills and rubbing the oil on to the marks to make them appear less obvious, but have you guys found anything to prevent getting them in the first place? (Especially in the shoulder/armpit area). IP: Logged |

bullshit! nothing gets rid of stretch marks aside from some surgery involving lasers. get over it. you need to earn stretch marks. they are a trophy. myself and every other huge guys has lots of em...tan makes em less obvious. ------------------ 300lbs or death IP: Logged |

i have a buddy who's using wart remover. he swears it's gonna work. he thinks that each time some skin peals off that the new skin growning underneath will have less scar tissue. (strech marks). sounds a little out there but who knows? IP: Logged |

You should use the vitamin E oil, and Retinol-a try to find a blend. The cocoa buuter is also a good call. IP: Logged |

harcory is right, keep those stretch marks, you know you love em, and sugury is the only way to get rid of em, you can tan them and try and discolor them other than that nothing else works

tanning makes stretch marks even more obvious, except for surgery, there is nothing you can do about them. IP: Logged |

About ten years ago muscle and fitness ran an article on strech marks. The author thoughs were the best method for prevention was to use Virgin(he said virgin) Olive oil, as it was the onlt procuct they had found that accually penetrated(he said penatrated) several layers of your skin.I tried it last summer when I put on some serious # in a short period of time(I am prone to s-marks)and gained only two tiny ones on one tricep. I agree that stretch marks are a trophy and mark you accomplishments, but they aren't as attractive at contest time...deepsquat, did you have any problems with breakouts in the armpit/shoulder area from the olive oil? IP: Logged |

a buddy of mine is a surgeon. I aked him about it so I was wrong about the retin-a gel. I will not get rid of them. The guys who said surgery is the only cure is right. but remember you can help prevent them by using lotions (like cocoa butter)in the areas that are suseptable to stretch marks. When skin is moist it is more elastic. Lotion is not a total prevention, but it sure as hell can help. Remember an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. ------------------ IP: Logged |

ramp up the skin vitamins. D, E, A, and also keep the skin plenty lubed up with your lotion of choice (again you might use one with vit. Dand E, and Aloe is good, too) keep some fat in your diet (olive oil, flax seed, any Omega -3 fish oil) keep the skin stretchy, dude ------------------ IP: Logged |

I got rid of a bunch of wide ones using castor oil....not castrol oil....castor, you can get it at any healthfood store. and apply it generously on the area every nite b4 bed and watch the magic in 3weeks to a month. if u can use it during day as well. IP: Logged |

The only way to get rid of em is laser surgury. Time will fade them but you will always see remnants of battle-scars. I say if ya got em, great, that means you grew. Don't be embarassed, you earned them. IP: Logged |

I got stretch marks were my pecs meet my armpits. Had em since I was a teenager. Only thing that I found makes em go away is growing out my sasquatch like chest hair. IP: Logged |
