I read somewhere that you can re-use insulin needles basically untill they go dull. Is this true? Is a pack of ten insulin pins all I will need for a while? IP: Logged |

they are 12$ for a hundred a COSTCO- most phamacies 15-18$ 100$. Why re-use them? I know people that do but its just not smart. ------------------ IP: Logged |

There is no way around it! No needle is safe to RE-USE! If it is absolutely necessary than you should most definately treat the needle to be re-used in a pot of boiling hot water to kill any bacteria that may cause infection. Not to mention the needle will become dull after each use. It is much more pertinent to buy a supply. It's cheap and much safer in the long run! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Reuse the fucking things, shoot then put the cap back on, you will be fine. People saying you need a new pin each time obviously have no experience with this. I have been doing this for months with no problems, I use each one 5-10 times before I pitch it. Sometimes I might clean the outside of the needle with alcohol but usually I don't. LP IP: Logged |

Its a good practice to not re-use pins, but if you must clean them three times with isopropyl alcohol, and keep them in the freezer. And as always never share. IP: Logged |

dude i just went to sav-on last night and they wouldn't sell me some 23 gauge needles. they said i needed a perscription. i'm going to use the aus vet products stanzolic(micro-refined) and the ultagan (EQ). can i use this gauge for these products. oh yeah can some one write me up a cycle of these two products i want to do it for 8 weeks. how many cc to take,how many mg a day etc. IP: Logged |

re-using the needles is not a problem at all. i just bought a bottle of Humulin-R today and in the package the company supplies you with a piece of paper explaining how to inject,reusing needles and all the other shit that you probably already know.....it even tells you how to mix short and long acting insulin. ------------------ IP: Logged |
