Well bros; I just found out yet another one of my training partners has quit the game. This time under unusual conditions - he said he couldn't afford the damn gym membership! He begged and pleaded for me to work out at the motherfucking university free gym. If you guys think your gym is bad, you should come see this place! There is no music, they have 1 bench and 1 squat rack, dumbbells are missing, and it is FREE - so that means you get to experience a whold new level of lazy riff-raff that paid gyms attempt to weed out. Anyway, I've decided to go solo until I leave for India! IP: Logged |

Damn that sucks....Lucky for me I still have mommy and daddy paying my ticket...Except for the gym memebership, but it was def worth all the damn windows and mirrors I had to fix to get the money. Good Luck finding a new Partner...If there is any chance to save the old one tell him to suck up the cost like everyone else. Keep Pumping IP: Logged |

Well that certainly sucks!!!! I had to put mine on an alternate 3 day a week circuit training. Between his ex, her boyfriend and his girlfriend and job he has lost all desire to even lift. And that really sucks since he was once a Marine Recon and Presidential guard. Oh well, we all can't be perfect. Why India?? IP: Logged |

I go it alone too. I just find someone who looks like they know what they're doing when I need a spot. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I agree, I will just ask for a spot when I need it. You get better time out of the gym that way. I used to have a wop but same situation happened. He backed dropped out of the game and none of my friends are into it as much as I am. Only, when the summer comes 'round and we all hit the beach, they get all inspired to make their appearance better for all of about 2 weeks then it's back to the lazy chair... ------------------ IP: Logged |

Seriously, none of my buddies can hang. I go to the gym by myself all the time at school and just get a spot when I need it. At home it's different cuz theres a bunch of us who work out at the same gym. IP: Logged |

When I was lifting back in college ('89) I had the best training partners, and had some of the best workouts ever. Then as the get a job time came around, I worked out solo, but in a really kick ass gym. Atmosphere, serious dudes and women. I moved and my gym is ok now, but didn't have as many hardcore dudes as before. It was a year of workouts that began to get stale.. I needed a kick in the ass. And I did My friend started working out with me in the mornings (he had very little experience before this) And my workouts have gotten really good. I have tons more enthusiasm, and someone counting on me to be in the gym. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Phuckem, the only bad thing about going solo is that you have to know your body and strength, if youre not having someone to spot you. its a pain in the ass... ask someone to spot you, what do the phucking monitors think they get paid for. Well to tell you the truth if they have to spot my bench press, its like a heavy deadliftday for them; bunch o wosses IP: Logged |

I go it alone as well....seems like one guy wants to train then his buddy joins in a few days later...and then two more....Hell with it, if I need a spot, I ask! Ranger IP: Logged |
