I am usually pretty discipline but when it comes to chocolate that is my downfall. I have to eat it at least eod. How bad is this for me? Do you guys have a weakness like this and if so what is it? ------------------ IP: Logged |

I go on binges sometimes. I take months off chocolate and candy and then go nuts for a few days and repeat the cycle. It all seems to work well in the end. Jon ------------------ IP: Logged |

I usded to be a big candie and sweets person when I was a kid. Now I have almost no desire for sweets and such. My friends all think I have such great will-power because I will have a bowl of M&M's and Skittles and Reses' peanut butter cups sitting out for weeks at a time and not eat it all in one day. I leave it there for them and I won't touch it and it drives them nutz! hehe I do admit from time to time I will get a craving for chocolate but, that's very few and far between. I hear ya bro...my worst cravings come after eating lunch/dinner...I've found that if I eat a couple of life savers or tic tacs it usually quenches the sweet tooth. IP: Logged |

you guys need to try this.. get your protien powder, put the amount you would in a shake into a bowl. then put peanut butter and honey in it, and mush it up until you can make balls out of them. MY GOD!! very good, sit down with a glass of milk, and down 60 grams of protien, and 60 grams of fat, easy, taste like heavan. i swear i'm adicted too the stuff..... IP: Logged |

I usually have like 4-6 cheat days per month where I just snap and go crazy and eat everything. It's usually on the weekends on a sunday or saturday. I mean I'll eat cookies, brownies, CHOCOLATE...keeps me in check. Ya gotta have those days sometimes man. Every other day though can get damaging. Especially if you're trying to get ripped. I do have a sweet tooth as well, but since I have upped my fat intake, I noticed I have curbed it. Also, you might be bored when all of a sudden you have a craing just try to do something or thinking about something else. I dont remember the last time I had chocolate or even a soda for that matter, it just never crosses my mind. Its kinda funny, its like Ive been eating on the same schedule for so long, and eating healthy that just the thought of some foods make me sick. I like chocolate, but just never crave it. As for foods that are greasy or fried, that will literally make me nauseous after ingesting it. It like some foods my stomach just wont take anymore. As for the guy that posted the topic of taking aspartame...well there is plenty of scientific evidence that proves it can kill you, but is more likely over long periods of use to cause MS type symptoms as well as causing lupus. I would stay away from it. I do however believe wholeheartedly in cheat days, I have one per week, and it does my body a world of good, if for nothing else the carb spike.
