I was about 168 when I started this cycle... just getting into my fourth week now, I'm up to 172 (175 with food in me). Mind you, it was only a few weeks ago, that I was struggling to get 12 reps on 14 plates. I'm making major progress. Pre-workout I had a phenyltropic, 0.2cc of ref-b, 4 andro-infusions (that's a lot) and a great big chicken burrito. I was kicking ass and taking names in there! Can't wait for chest day tomorrow. Last time, I cranked out 8 reps w/ the 100lbs dumbbells on the incline db press. This week, I'm aiming to get 6 reps on 225 on the incline bb press. I know the other bros on here are putting up 315, but we all had to start somewhere. It's not where you're at, it's how fast you're getting to where you want to be. ------------------ IP: Logged |

good job keep it up but i hear of a lot of guys that claim big lifts like this and then find out that they are only using 1/4 of the range of motion that should be used on a leg press. I hope that you don't train this way and that lift is 18 plates using your full range of motion on the leg press. GOod luck and train hard oversized IP: Logged |

Good job much more than I could have done at that weight! Wait till you start doing leg presses with 1200 pounds, full range. That will definitely give you an ego boost. By the way for the brainiacs of the bunch, if you use a leg press that is at 45 degrees that 1200 will be equal lto 1200*0.707 or 71% of the actual weight you move vertically against gravity. But any way u slice it that is impressive period. Assuming the sled you use (moving part) weighs 50 pounds, then you need approximatly 12.5 plates a side. With someone of some size on top it could be another 200-250 pounds as well. IP: Logged |

Good s**t. it was alreday mentioned, but full renge of motion is crucial. Partial reps = partial gains, generally. How's your squat? Matt IP: Logged |

No squatter, you don't need to say anything cause I will for you. Joe, good job but I would much rather see someone bragging about their squat that goes to or beyond parallel. Thats a real mans lift. But still a good job on the gains. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I've never gotten much out of squats. They just don't work as well as hack squats and leg press for me. I'm not a foo-foo lifter... I do my deadlifts, my bench press and my military press, but squats just don't hit my quads as well as I'd like. I tend to get sore in my glutes and hams when I squat. I can do butt-to-the-floor squats with 225lbs, but I'd rather do butt-to-the-floor hack squats with 3 plates and a quarter per side. It just works better for me. Here's a picture ... my quad development isn't really lagging compared to the rest of my physique (if anything, my delts lag). I'm not huge, but I'm making good progress and I'm happy about it.

Thanks, oversized! You're dead-on about the height... I like to say that I'm almost 5'7" ....which means I'm 5'6" We should get more people to post pics! Just white out your head to be anonymous. We could have our own member-voted bodybuilding show! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Wow, 18 plates on the squat! What's that it wasn't the squat? Oh well it was still respectable, but with that legpress iwould think you could squat at least 405.But your legs don't look bad, keep up the good work. IP: Logged |

phiend, I'm 22. This is my first cycle of "real" steroids. I was heavy into pro-hormones for a while, but I recently decided I wanted to give injectables a try. I'd been toying with the idea for a while and when the opportunity presented itself, I went for it. So far so good, but I'm definitely going to hit the testosterone esters for my next cycle. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Congrats on your gains. I was actually doing 80 for 5 reps in the dumbell press. I guess when I juice then I might ge able to hit the 100lbs mark. I gave up barbell benching it just puts too much stess on my shoulders. You're pretty rip for natural. Keep the updates coming. IP: Logged |
