I consider myself a very strong minded person and just want to use a good steroid like Sus to give me a jump start on building my body. I have lifted hard for two years and have seen dramatic natural gains in two at the age of 18 now. But if i do use and put on about 20lbs. in the areas i am lagging, will i crave more of it later on? or is it possible that i look at it like just a start and build from that huge gain naturally? I am currently 205lbs. of muscle in a six foot frame. 225 would be more than ideal. I would like an honest answer. Thanks, Italian Sweetness---------18 IP: Logged |

I think no one has answered your post because we all think you're too young to start taking steroids. I may not be able to stop you, but i can not help you

Hey paisano, my brother is 18 as well. HE just started training this year. He bugs me constantly about getting him gear. I'll tell you the same thing that I tell him week in and week out: Train hard for three or four years without it, then go nuts. If your a healty average male, your test levels are probabaly higher now then they ever will be. If you use gear now, you will possibily screw up your gains permanately, abd then yes you will always need it to make solid gains!

I would have to agree somewhat w/ the rest of these guys. I started when I was about 20 and it was a little young for me. In retrospect, I think I could have made more natural gains before taking the gear. I think everybody is different though. I know some guys who weren't going to grow anymore after the age of 16, and I know some who didn't finish growing until they were 21. I took gear for about a year and a half and got the gains I wanted, so I stopped. I haven't touch them in about 3 years. Some of my buddies won't even lift unless they have gear. I think that is pretty pathetic. If you are strong minded you won't have a problem with this. Just set your goals at a reasonable level. Like I said before, I would wait if I were you, but of course you are the only one who can decide that. Good Luck!! ------------------ IP: Logged |

I am by no means an expert but if he WAS going to do it couldn't he take some anabolics instead of the androgen Sustanon that he mentioned. Since he is 18 then he may beable to get good gains from something like EQ, Primobolan, Deca etc etc. Now I do feel if you have only been hitting the weights for 2 years then you have alot more potential to grow. I have been natural for 5-6 damn years and I have got great results, but now it is time for some help. IP: Logged |

The truth is if your mind is set on it your gonna do it. Be careful and educate yourself on all aspects, especially side effects. Get ALL you're gear before beginning, especially the protective stuff(clomid, nolvadex, HCG,etc.) IP: Logged |

You know it is just like a potato chip you can never have just one.Right now you are thinking 225 would be good, but when you get there 255 would look better. The choice is up to you but I would weight a few more years hell by then you might be 225 naturally anyway. IP: Logged |

Matt's opinion: use steroids when you are at or close to your genetic potential for muscle growth, if you desire more growth. You are 18. You are not at and probably not near your full potential. You have probably 8-10 great years to make good solid natural gains..... Matt IP: Logged |

Sorry bro, I agree with the rest of the guys - you have several more years of GOOD solid natural growth ahead of you. Take the time to educate yourself about gear...master the nutrition and training aspects of the sport first...then if you truely feel you are ready go for it. IP: Logged |

To directly answer you question: Steriods are like Heroin, you bought it for life. It's not physically addicting buy psychologically. You will think that you can't grow without them because your growth will slow down. 5 - 20 # per year naturally or 5 - 10 # per two months of lean muscle gains. Can you get big with out them? Yes, you can and I know a national bb that is 100% natural. Can you go into the IFBB with out them? No. ------------------ IP: Logged |
