this topic is a touchy one eh? dayam! think about this...when the constitution was written 200 some odd years ago did they amend it since then? uh huh. have they interpreted laws that were once thought to not have any loopholes and found ways around it? yep. NOW...to look at something from a religious view, one that hasnt been to open for change is just setting yourself up for guilt. go with whats in your heart, if you feel you are good person and are responsible, your decisions wont consume you and you will be able to move forward. If you are unable to make a decision that is comfortable for you, then its better to take the safe route. no flame intended towards any religious types out there, just stating my opinion in the least threatening manner possible. i know how religion is such a sticky subject. whatever your decision bro good luck. oh and KEEP LIFTING! Pauly7, I am no Bible scholar, and I'm not here to criticize anyone's beliefs. It's funny that in the history of the church, so many have been killed in God's name. The crusades, the Inquisition, Christopher Columbus and the Europeans trying to force Christianity on the natives. If you beieve in Jesus as Lord, imagine what he would say to all that....probably something like, "You gotta be kidding me - they didn't understand a word". But regarding your issue, to steroids themselves I attach no moral value. It is what is in your heart, it is why you want to take them, that matters. If you are taking them to compete, that should not be against Christianity. You are just trying to physically be the best "Pauly7" you can. If you are taking them to beat up your neighbor because the guy won't return your weed-whacker, then I believe that is when the wrongdoing occurs. Steroids themselves have never harmed a single person. People can harm themselves with steroids, if they abuse or misuse them. To me, it is your intent at the time of decision that matters. I think you need to search your own soul for the right answer. Everyone here has good opinions, but when it all comes down to it only your opinion and your relationship to whatever god you worship will give you the right answer to this question. I faced that question a year ago, when I thought about long term what I had to do inorder to get my body the way I want it. I examined my own faith vs. other choices I've made the right ones and the wrong ones. For me, I felt good about the choice I made cause not only will it help me develop my body to something better, it will also help show what god has blessed me with Unfortunately because of mans law I have to take risks with getting legit and clean gear inorder to see my dream. One positive note I might have found a exdoctor who will help with setting up a schedule for my first cycle lucky me I guess Keep Pumping IP: Logged |

Your taking AS to better your health? If taken safely they can be beneficial? Who are you kidding. From the moment you load the syringe to time after a cycle you do nothing but increase health risks. Injection site infection, blood pressure, heart rate, liver damage, hairloss, gyno, addiction...All for muscles man. It ain't about being healthy. Health use is going to the doctor for legitimate shots. Don't play with matches unless your intent is to burn the house down... LP IP: Logged |

DON'T LISTEN TO ALL THIS HYPE. I'm a Christian too, and if you want the answer, God says to come to Him first. Pray about it. He'll let you know what to do. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Hey guy, I believe too. I think if you prayed about it and its allowed by God for you then do it. Don't abuse it, make sure you have all the protection drugs too. Nolvadex, clomid, HCG to come off. Plus, extra supplements besides. A well thought out cycle will cost an easy 500$ for everything, not including GH IP: Logged |

i'm telling you, you're confusing man's laws with god's laws. Some people think that fighting in a war is less of a sin than using heroin recreationally. in one, you are killing on command due to peer pressure (basically), in the other you are expanding your consciousness. You don't feel this way about aspirin do you? That your body is a temple, etc. Aspirins are just as unnatural to the body as AAS, they just aren't demonized by US. Think about it for a minute, its true. we do alot of unnatural stuff. technology is unnatural. Anti-biotics are just as unnatural to the body as juice. They also do the same thing. They make certain parts of your body stronger (immune system) because you prefer having your life that way. man's law, my friend. Religion has been confusing man's laws and god's laws since the beginning. Burning heretics was about men and their predujices, not god. IP: Logged |

GOD IS ALL AROUND YOU. WITHOUT GOD, there is no gravity to make the weights heavy. without the muscles god created to lift the weights, there is no bodybuilding or powerlifting. If you get bigger, you have more of Gods muscle. If you lift more weight you will be able to lift more of God. By being bigger and stonger, I am able to bring God close to my heart, and help me get 405 off my neck because my spotter sucks. ------------------ IP: Logged |

YOU KNOW THAT IS ONE OF THE BEST INQUIRIES I HAVE SEEN POSTED LATELY. I AM IN SOMEWHAT IN THE SAME DILEMA. I PERSONALLY DON'T SEE ROIDS IN THE SAME CATEGORY AS CRACK, COCAINE, HEROIN OR OTHER MIND ALTERING DRUGS. BUT ROIDS DO HAVE SOME BODY POLLUTING EFFECTS. YOU HAVE TO MAKE YOUR OWN DECISION ON THE MATTER. I GUESS IT ALSO DEPENDS ON WHAT COUNTRY YOUR IN. MOST MIND ALTERING DRUGS ARE ILLEGAL IN MOST COUNTRIES, BUT STEROIDS ARE LEGAL IN MANY COUNTRIES. JUST MY THOUGHT GUY. IP: Logged |

You can't live your entire life asking yourself what God thinks is right. Do what you think is right. If your a good person, you will be fine. If there is a "God", I seriously doubt he will make someone burn in the fiery flames of hell for taking some extra testoterone. IP: Logged |

A-Mass - very right indeed!!! You certainly have studied, as have I. A pity more people don't know this, eh? As for AS and christianity - forget about whether it is unchristian, sit down and do some thinking about whether or not YOU think it goes against YOUR beliefs. If it does (and well it may) don't do it. Train natural. But then, vanity might be construed as what we all pursue by lifting weights, in which case you'd better stop dead. IronMike IP: Logged |
