im telling you guys temple is going to be a big suprise in the tournament this march, as for the eagles after a couple of good draft pick they will be a playoff team once again. you gotta agree with that they are the worst best team out there. trust i won a lot of money from them covering the spread so many times this year. they went to overtime, what 3 times. the flyers, now thats a givin. the only team that has a chance is colorado. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Funny how all the Seattle area assholes make it to Ohio. I lived in Seattle before I moved to Atlanta and it was not uncommon for me to see Griffey out at the bars/clubs trying to hit on fat women. Also, for a while I lived with a dancer from DeJa Vu out there and she said the all the dancers thought (as does anyone who meets the guy) that he's a fuckin asshole! Only fitting that he goes to Ohio, new home of another legendary Seattle area prick, Shawn Kemp. Seattle doesn't need that asshole anyway - they got A-Rod, Martinez and now Olerud.....let Cincy deal with him, where he'll be the third best home run hitter in the division. Matt IP: Logged |

I'm absolutely sick of the big money contracts!! I say hell ya!! for Griffey he turned down so much more money. He's an old school ball player it's finall nice to see a professional thats not so money hungry. This is how baseball is supposed to be, "For the love of the game!!" I play minor league ball and I tell you what, I would play for peanuts,thats practically what we get paid in the minors anyway. Just one game in the "show", now thats a dream come true. Dont take anything for granted!! And never mess with the "Baseball Gods!!" Havi'n fun playing ball thats what its all about. Very lucky!! Great Job, get paid to do somethimg you love to do!!

100mph, Griffey and Kemp are both outstanding athletes. I respect their athletic talent. I played D-1 basketball, and I know how hard it is to get to even that level, much less the pros in any sport. All the athletic ability in the world does not excuse acting like a jackass, and I will never, under any circumstances, be envious of those behaviors. I'm well past that. Matt IP: Logged |

A few things: Temple is no longer a team to call a "surprise" in the tournament. Their trapping defense is well known by every coach in the country and they will no longer sneak up on teams in the tournament. It's not a stretch to call Temple a final-four calibre team...Ken Griffey Jr. has a loser's mentality, the Reds will do no better this year than they did last year, Griffey does not have the correct make-up to win big games, he is totally selfish. Well I'm a Cinci fan and Ken Griffey fan, grew up in Columbus, Oh and watched Joe Morgan, Johnny Bench and Pete Rose in person many days at Riverfront stadium as a kid. So I think it's ALL good! IP: Logged |
