  I bought WAR a long time ago, and I loaned it to a friend, so I will probably have to buy a new one cuz I need some info in there such as brands and pictures. What is better: Anabolic Advantage, WAR, Underground Steroid Handbook II, etc.? What do you guys think? IP: Logged |

I like the war, but question it. Im not so sure how much of an expert they are. I lost a lot of faith whenthey printed GH was a controlled subastance in the US and even went as far to say you would be incarcerated for years for merely posessing it. I did'nt think this to be true, so I called US customs and asked. They simply said, "No sir, it is not a controlled substance in the US, and you are permitted to purchase it in a three month supply." WOW, I thought, that easy, yet these guys,"WAR", went off of hearsay. It would not have taken much to make a call. So because of that, I take all the info they give with an open mind. A lot is correct and it has helped my knowledge a great deal. Check out Physical Enhancement with an Edge, cover South of the Boarder shit in detail. Over 500 pages and color photographs. Before Bill Phillips sold us bro's out,he wrote a book-Anabolic Reference Guide.It's out of print now,but this book ranks up there with the best. IP: Logged |

Hell yeah!!!! The anabolic reference guide is a great book. I used to think phillips was great after I read it. I loaned it to a friend a while back and have not seen it since. Would love to get my hands on another one. I think the war is the best. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Steroid Bible sucks? what do you mean, Squatter? I think it's a pretty good resource. It was printed in 1986 or some shit, so it's alittle old, but I thought itwas plenty informative. OPINIONATED to be sure and I won't say Dan Duchaine was any sort of prince charming, but I thought it was a good concise reference. Not to mention the first. .02 ------------------ IP: Logged |

Heeman I think the book your refering to is Physical Enhancement With an Edge, It sucks, at least that is my oppinion, the pics and many of the descriptions are outdated and the availability section is kind of dated too. I just got the book a few days ago and I knew more by just reading on the net what was current like pics and stuff than what the book had to offer, what a waste of money. IP: Logged |
