I am 21 yrs old, I have been working out for several years now with minimal gains. I have chosen a cycle of Deca and Test for my first. I work out everyday now, but I am curious as to how my workout should change when I start my cycle. Would I be overtraining with the same schedule? I never work the same muscle group 2 days in a row, but I am working upper body MWF and lower TuTh. Need a good routine with the right amount of rest.

I think you should figure out why you haven't been gaining off the natural building first. Without that info you'll do nothing but waste your money on steroids.

They help a lot but they're not magical

Agree with E2, also you will need to be intense with your workouts, so I would allow about 72 hours rest for larger muscle groups,

Mon: chest, shoulders, tris
Tue: back, lats, bis
wed: legs
thurs: chest, shoulders, tris
Fri: back, lats, bis
Sat: legs
Sun: off

just an example of how you can work each body part twice a week, but still get 72 hrs rest in between...

stay big,

Christian

I agree with Christians workout schedule. However at 21 you should have enough T for all of us. Check your diet and get enough sleep to recover and grow muscle.

hell, i think your overtraining and or undereating and or recovering as it is now... every day ??? hell no, gotta go. 4 or 5 days a week... 7-8 hours of sleep a day, and LOTS OF FOOD!!! more protein the better. especially before bed, in the morning and directly after you train. combine these with a little AS in there and you should be alright...

I think you are overtraining big time. i notice good growth of this:
mon:chest,calves
tue:back,forarms,traps
wed:quads,hams
thu ff
fri:delts,tris
sat:bi's,hams
sun ff
Sometimes i do bi's and tri's twice a week.
just like everyone else said eat a ton, and sleep at least 8 hours straight though the night.

Well Determined, You have the right idea. You have the ambition as long as what you say is true about your routine. The thing is you mention about your workout routine, the fact that your going to be doing a cycle but you never mentioned anything about your diet! Look into that because it's the biggest factor in growth. Also, if your diet is good, then your not being fair about your workouts and you need to take it a little more seriously and go a bit heavier! Push yourself beyond your limitations and expectations and you will see results!!! That's my opinion!

subconsciously your body fights to make everything easy....

switch things up a bit to "shock" your body...
