paying for water from some mountain spring...lol, right, now whoever came up with that marketing idea is a friggin genius. Good ol' tap water suits me just fine, 1 1/2 to 2gal. a day. I can see buying store water if you live in mexico or some weird third world country or outback hick village, but a couple of bucks for a liter of water....c'mon.... IP: Logged |

Guys no matter what the best water you can drink, is distilled. Nothing beats it, nothing else comes even close E2 IP: Logged |

Hey guys, I may be a complete idiot, but tap water does contain alot of fluoride and chlorine which is added to the water supply. Water is often loaded with fluoride, chlorine, trichloromethanes, lead, arsenic, mercury and everything else that can seep into supplies from nearby landfills, dumps, factories, and farmlands. Most water treatment plants do not have the technology to remove chemical contaminants from out tap water. Reverse osmosis or distilled water is best because it oxygenates the water and brings it back to it's natural god-made state. Water is the elixir of life. Drink it pure, drink it often, and drink at least half of your body weight in ounces daily. IP: Logged |

Your 100% right on this one E2. Distilled is the only water I drink while on. When off I drink RO filtered by a TFC membrane, 1 micron particulate, carbon dust pack which results in 98% pure. Which is the UV'ed. There is no regulation on any of the so called bottled waters. In fact many of them are pulled from the same wells as your city - just not chlorinated or fluorinated. The only regulation imposed is that fact that for a water to be labeled PURE it must be in the 98% range. Look on your labels and they will say everything close, but will not say PURE WATER. Often they say "purified" which means they could have run it through a cloth filter and called it good. Hell, they could have run it throgh the crack of my ass and called it purified! For all you tap water drinkers out there do a little test. Take just one gallon and put it in the smallest pot you can. Then boil it off and see how much shit you find at the bottom of the pan. It may not be much, and this is good, now do this for one week, same pot - one gallon. Now look at it. If you think any of it is good for your body, think again. And for you motivated types, request from your city water department the latest survey data on water quality. Every city must report this to the EPA and other Gov Depts. It is free of charge to any inquiring party. Remember - any heavy metal ingested will not leave the body. My latest water report included detectable amounts of arsenic, lead, beryllium, copper, and many many others. But because water is so limited in So. Cal. the federal guidelines were suspended and the cities were allowed to continue. I have worked for water departments and I also have a small side business that deals with aquatic environments. I KNOW WATER and I'm telling you to drink distilled or water labeled as pure. Anything else is a complete rip-off. Late Lobo IP: Logged |

Gotta agree with the distilled water guy. Nothing flushes free radicals like it and there is no processing required by the kidneys. Definitly the best out there. Keepin the Peace, IP: Logged |

Go to wal-mart, target, or kmart, and buy one of those brita or PUR water purifiers. They are awsome. They only cost about $12 now, and you don't have to replace the filter that much. Takes all the bad taste out of water. IP: Logged |

I agree with E2, distilled is the best for you. It's the best aide in cleaning the liver as opposed to tap. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Halfcutz, They are just limited chemical filtration using carbon granuls. Next to worthless and they are a breeding ground for bacteria. Wet, dark and a very nice place for 'em to grow. Carbon is like a sponge, only smaller. After a few days (maybe weeks) the small "holes" clog up and it's done. I challenge you to follow my little test and boil off a few gallons and see what is not filtered. Just trying to help here guy. If I did not care about your health, I'd would not bother to post.
