I am going to be using an anti-depressant shortly, probably Paxil or Prozack. Does anybody know how this will affect me during a cycle? IP: Logged |

Hmmm. Fact is, medical science is so anal about steroids that we don't know all of the interactions. Since you have cycled before, you should know what to expect. Mood swings (which vary greatly between individuals and dosages) might be increased. Everybody I know feels pretty great while cycling. Except one friend, who gave me a pouch of really excellent gear about 12 hours before he blew his head off with a shotgun. Be careful man, and if you feel more unhappy or less in control, ease back on the drugs and find some good friends to watch over you. The two drugs you mentioned are fairly mild, and shouldn't interfere with the steroids anyway. Chances are, no problems. Take care. Peace. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I would suggest staying on Prozac or Paxil when you take AS. The anti-depressants take some time (around a month) to get into your system and for you to notice a difference. So, if you stop taking them and then notice adverse side effects from AS use, then you will be waiting a month or longer before you can start to control it. Remember that if you need it now then you will more than likely need it to maintain an even keel throughout your cycle. By the way, I used to take Zoloft and told my doctor that I was also using some AS. He was not worried about any reactions between the two, just the AS use in and of itself. Hope I was of some help. I am currently taking 40mgs a day of Paxil for anxiety,the best thing that happened was starting my cycle.SSRIs tend to inhibit erections and arousal.750mgs of test stopped that pronto.The Paxil also eliminated alot of mood swings i get while hitting the gear. I read on SKB site for paxil that Anadrol 50 amplifies paxils effect. IP: Logged |

do some thorough research on any contraindications or potential interactions between hormones and your antidepressants. i have to take imipramine hcl for the rest of my life to prevent spontaneous potent anxiety attachs from adrenaline reactions. my bro has the same and several in our family tree had the same. imipramine is a beta agonist and works differently than the meds you mentioned-ive grown now for 10 years and been on the med for 15, and physically am doing fine. THINGS I KNOW FOR SURE!!! TEST STAY UNDER 500 MLGS WEEKLY, NO ANADROL! NO STEN OR HALO. THERE IS A THEROY BEHIND DOSAGES AND CRASHING WHILE ON A ANTI DEPRESSANT'S... THERE IS SAID TO BE A MILD TO STRONG DREPPRESSION STAGE AFTER THE DISCONTINUED USE OF GEAR (HORMONAL CHANGES).
