This is what I think about Ronnie Coleman, Great Bodybuilder....yes...Mr. O....no Ok not flaming any Coleman fans..or anything so dont take that wrong, but I personally thought that all though Flex wasnt at his absolute best..he looked more symetrical than Coleman...and I personally thought Shawn Ray had them both licked in overall physique competition....but thats just my opinion. A cop on juice....why not, Ive known alot more cops on much worse...Id rather see a cop on the job that uses gear, than one smacking coke, or crack....ya know? Bleed Iron Bros... Later IP: Logged |

I agree with WCP. Flex looked more swmmetrical,and I thought his abs were more cut too. Damn, first you guys make me want to be a veterinarian, now a cop whats next doctor(hey not a bad idea) I would be makin money and I would be able to write my own scripts! Re: Coleman vs Wheeler... Coleman's glutes, hams and abs were way more shredded than wheelers. I admit that Wheeler has twice as many abs (looks like eight to me) than Coleman, but if they're under a layer of water/fat you don't get points for 'em. Coleman definitely deserved to win it. I agree with Biz, I think Lee Priest is the most incredible bodybuilder on the planet... how the hell does someone who stands 5'4" weigh 285 lbs (225 contest shape)...thats phucking huge!!!! I don't know a whole lot about Kovacs - I read that he wanted to compete in the 2000 Mr. O...I also heard he was over 400 pounds offseason at 16%bf - I don't know if he'll compete or not - I'd like to see how he looks in contest shape, because as far as mass goes, no one can really approach him. I know one thing though: he didn't get that big on NorTesten or and other MuscleTech products. Matt IP: Logged |

I agree about Lee Priest. he is a monster. How does he get to 285??...Lots of drugs, eats like a monster and trains hard. He always says not to diet down unless you are doing a show. Stay bulky most of the year because when you do diet down, you will see the benefit of staying bulky most of the time. And Greg Kovacs, he isn't much of a competitor. I'd like to see him compete, but he is way too big. Come on, 400lbs in the off season and 300 something lean. Too big for top placings. He is strong and freaky and that is cool..but not much of a competitor. Also, no, he didn't get that way off of just MuscleTech. He says he eats between 10 and 12 thousand calories a day and think about all the drugs he uses. He probably uses over $100,000 a year on drugs. So figure it out!! About Ronnie...do you think they care. Come on, if your local police department had a man the size of him on the force they would probably feel comfortable. It is a big deterant!! BIZ...I have to disagree with you on one thing. Law Enforcement DOES test their employees for drugs and AS when they are hired, along with a polygraph (lie detector) test. After that, they don't test anymore unless there are other reasons to warrant further testing. But one thing that Ronnie may have done is gotten a prescription for AS. If he did this, he'd be legal. Even though no doctor would prescribe the amount Ronnie needs to compete, possessing and using them would no longer be illegal, no matter how much he used. IP: Logged |

I thought I saw the Current Mr O when I was in Arlington working over the summer at my uncle's And I could almost swear it was him cause the guy looked like a HUGE DAMN FREAK in that cop outfit....Or it might have been some fat ass who needed the same size uniform after protecting the local Dunkin Donuts after a full shift I think it's kick ass that a cop or anyone can get gear leagally...More power to him. As for winning next years Mr. O I don't think so...The comp. was way to close this year, and even though I like him as a bodybuilder, I'm not sure if I would have picked him to win...And is just me or does he appear to have gyno IP: Logged |

Well you can bet your ass being so close to Mexico he goes right across the border to the local pharm and gets what he wants. If a giant like Ronnie came into a pharm you worked in and wanted juice, you wouldn't deny it. Like someone said they are probably glad he is on their department, it is probably great publicity, you public relations and all that crap. It must be nice. IM HERE in texas. Ronnie gets away with it because he's a great spokepserson for the police department. Thats the bottom line he promotes the department and they promote him.And yes he deserved to win because he was the biggest in shape guy on stage. Wheeler was a tad smooth. Personally since my height is the same as Lee priest he's my favorite but Ronnie did deserv to win. Also you won't meet a nicer person. IP: Logged |

I saw this special on Ronnie Coleman, where they focused on his training, diet and supplementation, and that guy has a box - like a damn fishing tacklebox, of drugs that he takes on a regular basis. Not to mention the "other" drugs they won't publicize. Not trying to flame Ronnie fans - he's the champ, and all the other top pros do the same thing - I mentioned Kovacs before and he has to be the biggest user.....size and volume...ha ha ha Does Ronnie look great? Yes. But his body is as much a statement about working hard as it is a miracle of modern science. And he still had gyno. Matt IP: Logged |

Flex Wheeler lost because he's not a Weider contract bodybuilder and Mr O is a Weider event. Don't get me wrong, the Weiders have brought our sport to the next level, but it's just a sport that leans heavily towards a Weider contract player. IP: Logged |

As a first hand witness,Ronnies Glutes and hams won the show.Wheelers were very soft indeed.IMO Dillett,Ruhl and Priest all got screwed.All were tight as a drum,with required mass to impress.Can you dig it. IP: Logged |

I agree with flexed1. You won't meet a nicer person than Ronnie Coleman. I've talked to him twice, once at a show I competed in as he was a guest poser and then, I talked to him at the Arnold Classic. He seems to ALWAYS be nice to fans and take the time just to say, "hi". Also, he always seems to give credit to God. He says without Him, he wouldn't be where he is today. I don't know much about the steroid thing; however, he can't just take stuff and look the way he looks. I was just in a "policemans charity bench-a-thon" and was mildly impressed with some of the officers size and the weight they benched..... I was under the impression they were under strict guidelines and not able to juice....though I took first in my two divisions, I wasnt all that happy with it thinking how I use the gear and they are "natural" and still kept within 50lbs of my bench.... Now that I see they can get away with juicing, which I mildly suspected....I'm not as nearly impressed.... IP: Logged |
