Hey Docs and Researchers or anyone else that might know. What I am wanting to know is if a person has had cancer in the past would the use of A.S. cause a relapse. The reason I am asking is because a partner of my was diagnoised with Lymphoma around a year ago. Because of the Chemo and other treatment his body has been destroyed. My partner went from 5'10 235 @8% body fat to 150 to 160, btu the cancer is in remission, thank god (he is a damn good bro). He has been out of the treatment for 4 months now. He has been training and eating very well, but has only gained a few pounds. He now has this super hard on to get back on some mega doses of the gear.(like 1.5 to 2g/week of test and others) any advice that you can give me. Dont get me wrong I have no problem with my partner doing the juice, I just want to be able to inform him of the possable dangers, and try to convice him that he does not need to be taking such large doses in his condition.. *IF THE BAR STOPS MOVIN PUSH HARDER* IP: Logged |

Hi Livinbig. According to the World Anabolic Review (1996) Anadrol 50 is the only steroid know to cause cancer, as well as prostrate, it also mentions liver cancer. There's also the other consideration that alot of steroids are used in the treatment of certain cancer's, and even HIV. Glad to hear your friend has beaten the cancer. All the best. I wouldn't take the risk if I were your bro, hell, get that guy some creatine and see if he gains anything, at the very least give him mor than 4 months off kimo before juiceing him up. ANT- IP: Logged |

As the guys said anadrol is the only juice to be directly related to cancer. Other than that you have to be careful still, stay away from things like gh and igf1. If he still has cancer cells then either of those will make it come back. I think really it's up to him, in my eyes he has had a big scare. Cancer must really change your outlook on life, i think that he must now have some predisposition to cancer, maybe he always did but now you know about it. Taking juice may start things up again, but if he's looked cancer in the face and gone through that hell and still wants to do it, i dont really think much is going to deterr him. Hope things work out for both of you E2 IP: Logged |

nolvadex has been linked to testicular cancer in lab rats. so perhaps he should use clomid instead of nolvadex as an anti-estrogen. or weaker drugs and/or shorter cycles. IP: Logged |

Livinbig I want to give your friend not a BIG but FUCKING HUGE HELL YEAH I had my own little cancer scare that I'm just now getting settled...For the past 2 months I've been having numerous health problems that my doctors weren't able to explain, and through a series of tests and blood work. They believed that I had some form of small cell lung cancer. Since I don't consider the 1 a year cigar to put me at risk I have been pretty upset over it. Finally after some Awesome doctors at M.D. Anderson in Houston I've been cleared of my cancer worries... The realization of having it must be unreal, cause for a good time now I've been scared as shit. Now that I know I'm ok I have a def new respect on life. Praise those that survive and those that die fighting IP: Logged |
