  Does anyone else have trouble getting all the liquid out of amps. I don't like using them because of this reason. How do you guys make sure that you suck up all the liquid? IP: Logged |

I believe Cubano's method (which I use) goes a little like this: After you open the amp, then turn the amp almost parallel to the floor and draw out the fluid. Just tilt the amp up as you draw the fluid. It works great for me! Jon ------------------ IP: Logged |

Will that work well, even though the oil is really hard to draw up? I can get some stuff in, but after drawing as much as I can, I can't pull back anymore and I barely have any oil in there. So then, I tried to push the air out, but some of the liquid comes out. That's my main problem. IP: Logged |

I will say this again to get your shit out of the amp easier heat the closed vial in hot water, out of the tap as hot as you can get it for several minutes. Not only will this make the gear thinner (easier to suck up the needle) but may even steralize it some what .No it does not effect the potency of you gear!@ IP: Logged |

I have a friend who heated his gear up to get it out easier. But the first time, he didn't think to let it cool off...

To get air out of your syringe so that you can draw in more oil just follow this procedure. Lets assume you are using a 3cc syringe, stop drawing oil at 2.5cc no mater how much of the amp is left. Turn the syringe up sid down and draw the last 1/2cc of air IN, this will clear the needle of any juice. now with the syringe still up sid down, push all of the air out, flip it back over, and continue to draw the oil from the amp. I use this method and have Zero waste. Heating the amp is a good idea too. IP: Logged |

Exactly BigM! Never go to the end (or top) of the pin. Heat the oil then draw up. I've also put a full 3cc pin in a tall glass filled with hot water (needle side up) This warms up everything, lets all the air rise to the top for easy removal and provides a smoother injection as it retains some heat.
