just wondering.....how many guys changes thier needle after drawing up the juice before injecting?? i always have but hear of others that don't.. let's find out what the rest of us do.. IP: Logged |

I always change the needle after I draw the fluid. I usually draw with an 18g needle then change to a 22g or 23g needle to inject. I am really into using sterile techniques. I also stock up on the rubbing alcohol. Jon ------------------ IP: Logged |

HardCory, I change the needle because I want to draw the fluid faster, but I also change the needle when I draw fom a multi-use vial (which could be contaminated or not sterile). Jon ------------------ IP: Logged |

I usually draw out with a green(1 1/2") and inject with a 1". Unless I'm hitting my calves, then I'll use a 5/8" IP: Logged |

Hardcore,Massmonster,doing site injections to the calf, you could hit a nareve or vein very easy, be careful it is only a very loosely based theory that site injections will cause locolized growth.Me I do'nt believe it,or else a hell of a lot of you guys would have some really BIG asses IP: Logged |

Well, I don't change the size of the needle, but I do unscrew the "heads" and change them, I think when you use a mu vile or amp you dull the needle which makes it harder to penetrate the skin. I always use a 22 1.5" for everything. IP: Logged |

I know some guys that re-use pins 2 or three times especially insulin pins. I persoanlly think drawing with 18-19 and pushing with 22-23 with fresh pins every time is the way to go- cost should not be an issue here- infections are bad news. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Change what? in still using the same needle after four years. I thought it being bent and rusted was normal. Sometimes i put the needle by my thigh, get a running start and jam it against the wall so it will go in. IP: Logged |

dianaballbusta... try warming up your vial.. i put it in warm water or on over a heat register for about 30 mins before i draw it up with a 23g...no probs... IP: Logged |
