If you mean what routines, try the power lifter style routines. Low volume low reps but big weights. If you mean what AS, then try fina, though it is a little harsh.

Thanks for the answers. In fact, I'm not a bodybuilder, I'm a cyclist. I need maximum possible power output on existing muscle mass. Putting on weight in cycling is out of the question. It's impossibble to increase power without increasing muscle mass, at least not without AS. So I know you bodybuilders know a lot about this stuff, so any info would be very very much apreciated. I heard GH is the best, but I cannot afford it. Deca, Primobolan etc. - that's all pump up stuff (as I heard). What do you guys suggest? Thanks in advance. IP: Logged |

Boric, If you search through some of the old psts, you will see that I posted one, called "Questions about HALO". I got about 6 responses from various people on this board, I think you will find it very informative. The thrust of it is that HALO will increase stregth considerably with very little if any increase in weight. Tends to make one's muscle harder - some bodybuilders use it to prepare for contests in order to preserve strength while dieting down. It also increases aggression, but for a competitive athlete is that really a bad thing?! Anyway, look for an old post called "questions about HALO" - it is fairly comprehensive. Matt IP: Logged |

use good old test with all the training your doing putting mass will not be a problem- far as I know the favorite accessory drug for cyclists is EPO. and EPO searches were the reason that over half the teams dropped out of the tour de france last year. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Macro, yes, the EPO rules, but the antidoping regulations limit the hematocrite level to 50 - a highly trained endurance athlete may have 46 or 47 without EPO, so increasing hematocrite to 49 wouldn't be effective. And even 49 may easely raise to 51 over the night if you dehydrate a little. Thanks B IP: Logged |

the way he trained chest everyday is , he limited the number of sets to i believe 3 and the reps veried every day 4-6 6-8 10-12 13-15 depending on what part of the cycle you are at.the basics behind this routine are in Leo Costas book Serious Growth It is the most informative and radical routine I have read in 20 years of lifting, also the most effective.A phone # of theres at least from a few years ago was 209-732-5537 2945 so.Mooney Blvd,Vasalina CA 93277 IP: Logged |
