I learned recently that a friend of mine had suffered a stroke in the gym when he was working out. From what i hear(i haven't spoken to him in over 2 months, we had a falling out with, yea you guessed it and argument on juice, can't get into the details of that) N e ways, i have been told that he is now in a mental institution. This message mainly goes to the newbies not just in drugs, but who are just starting out lifting as well. Don't get to greedy and lose your common sense. I know my friend had been on a straight cycle for basically over a year, i doubt he took any time off, except for maybe twice if that. At one point he was stacking, cyp. enathate, sustanon, anadrol, deca, d-bol. He was out of control. Guys be careful and watch out for the people around you, because i never said anything to him. Now i wonder if i made a big mistake. Will post more later. But as far as the new people who are just starting out. Please use some sense and don't let it consume your life. If you are going to juice, please use your head. IP: Logged |

I heard about a guy that kepted having strokes because he kept using Testosterone Enanthate. I never could stand to stay on Enanthate because my arms and legs kepted going to sleep. I have the feeling that Testosterone Enanthate increases Red Blood Cell count higher than others. And for me, my RBC has always been especially high anyway. P.S. to the newbies, don't mess around with high blood pressure! This will cause a stroke also. [This message has been edited by jak267 (edited February 03, 2000).] IP: Logged |

A GOOD PIECE OF ADVICE I GOT WHEN I FIRST STARTED USING GEAR IS "YOU HAVE TO CONTROL IT, NOT LET IT CONTROL YOU" IP: Logged |

Know what you are going to be doing to yourself before you so it. Blood pressure is not something to be taken lightly. Most guys on cycle pound high sodium foods, which because of the high retention of minerals associated with anabolics increases blood pressure. If you have any potential blood pressure problems you should take it into account when picking gear, amount of gear, possible accessory drugs- and VERY IMPORTANT IS EATING RIGHT-KEEPING SODIUM INTAKE AT NORMAL LEVELS OR EVEN REDUCED ONES. health ------------------ IP: Logged |

One thing to take in to acount is psychological addiction. As you guys know, it feels great to have a product pumpin through the veins. This can cause those with addictive personalties (Doing things in excess) to have a problem. Sometimes, with a product, it is easy to be like a kid in a candy store. Use a product as a supplement, not as way of life. IP: Logged |

'Face throws his condolences to you. I think it just goes to show, this is really about being big, being strong, and being HELATHY!!!!! I think most board members here will agree that any TWO of those compounds your friend used stacked together would yield phenomenal results. You can not be big, strong, and healthy if you are dead. At least your buddy has moved on to a better place where there is never a line at the bench press, and Momo will always throw you a spot. IP: Logged |

Gorgeous1, sorry to hear that. This is definately where the "Muscle Dysmorphia Syndrom" can really hit home. This is a perfect example... Gotta be the biggest, the more I take the more I grow, I can risk a bit more and so on, and so on. It is a real problem and needs to be recognized by us in able to forwarn those that we see heading down that road. You can't blame yourself for not saying something to him, but by sharing your story with us, we are all aware and know that we can address the issue with caution to those around us. Hope all goes well bro and keep us informed. ------------------ IP: Logged |

It's funny, we've got all these guys talking about using moderation, but in some cases, these are the same guys that say things like, "250 mg of Sust. a week is not even close to enough, you've got to pound the receptors, you need at least 750 a week." Don't bother telling people to use moderation if this isn't the advice you give. This is to no one specific. IP: Logged |

Thinks for the insight. I'm somewhat of a newbie but know when to say when (sorry for the cliche). I go to school with a kid that I was best friends with all through high school. He did a couple cycles last summer, small but he is not a real tall kid. He started a cycle of dureteston last december and when we came back from winter vacation he had moved on to anadrol and liquid d-ball. He ran out of those so now he is doing sustenon. He will do whatever is available and he doesn't want to stop untill at least the summer or untill he reaches 250. He is 5'10" and 235lbs right now. I don't see him stopping for a while. Seems a little dumb to me but what can be done. For a brief second I considered dragging my current 8-week sustenon cycle till the summer but decided to finish it up in march and take a few months off before starting a d-ball/eq cycle. Off course when the time comes I'll let you guys help me critique it. Sorry about your friend. We can all learn from it. "That which does not kill you can only make you STRONGER!!" IP: Logged |
